These gems from today:
I know this is a huge ask but I was wondering if anyone had a hd ready tv from 19" - 24" and a Sky+HD box as ours fell off our wall and smashed! I would really appreciate any help and can collect whenever is convenient. Thank you in advance
That's a bit of a joke! If they can afford a sky subscription surely they can buy another TV, or maybe claim on their insurance..0 -

I prefer that to 'Anything for a 6mth baby' I guess it depends how you see freecycle, I've asked for/recieved and given baby stuff away on freecycle - surely it is about keeping stuff out of landfill and the unnecessary manufacture of new items0 -
Classic, she wants to get fit, but only if the juicer matches her decor....Hey there I'm looking for a magimix (xl if possible) juicer as I'm
trying to get healthy this year but I'm still breastfeeding so can't go
on a diet yet hence why I want to start juicing and see how that goes..I
really want a magimix but if you have any other RED colour juicer you no
longer want I am happy to take it of your hands.0 -

I've personally given up with freecyle after far too many bad experiences with ungrateful/dishonest so-and-so's! I now donate everything to local charities and homeless shelters that only get referrals from professionals. At least this way the chances are they will actually go to someone in need i.e. those people who don't have broadband and a laptop and a car to collect!Happy, Happy, Happy!0

If that's your priority, it's a good decision.
Freecycle/Freegle has never been about giving to needy people - it was set up to stop stuff going into landfill.0
