  • Just seen this on my local freegle

Large black kitchen table free to who can collect. It is heavy but can be pulled into two sections plus 4 legs. I could do with a bit of tlc on the table top

Oh the difference one letter makes!

It may be laziness or illiteracy but personally I think its people using smartphones to post. They get used to using "text speak" and don't realise how it looks on a PC screen or how they come across as a result. Its not an excuse though and it gets my back up too.

Modern smartphones are exceptionally difficult to use text speak on for the simple reason the autocorrect does most of the work for you. In my area I'd go with illiteracy and laziness every time.

big asks on ours atm home cinema systems, dishwashers, laptops, tumble dryers and piano(by the post i think they mean a proper one not a keyboard)

    also this was on offer
horse poo straight from the field, all collected and heaped up, just bring your own bags or trailer. collect from farcet area. great for the garden or allotments

I'd imagine the horse poo will be quite popular. Well rotted, it makes great compost. :o

In the last two days we've had wanteds for an Axe, and now a PickAxe... I'm kind of anticipating the Wanted:Body Bag ad by the end ofthe weekend!

    Just posted on ours

Wanted: Good quality sofa and armchair (would need delivering)
I'm looking for some seating for my parents as their armchairs are looking a bit old now.
Heaven forbid they should have inferior quality furniture, delivered for free to replace their own old looking stuff.
It's a shame they didn't teach their offspring something old, manners.

As is, a big bag of bean bag beans, please state when you can collect

I think it's the sort of thing that freecycle is perfect for, but try saying it three times quickly!
