Someone's offering an ipad on my local freecycle

    bf left it behind... apparently

    chances of that being real?

None whatsoever, but useful to harvest the email addresses of the hundreds who will reply.

That one needs reporting to the group admin so that they can monitor that offerers posts to see if they are genuine.

And the ipad needs giving to me to verify it lol

On a good note I got a Senseo coffee maker from my local Freecycle group last year, today I asked if ayone has a coffeeduck for it to allow me to use coffee grounds instead of pods. The same person that gave me the senseo responded that she had one in the kitchen draw still. See what people have knocking around that they just never get rid of until prompted by a wanted post.

I'm not quite sure what this one will do if she's offered lots of stuff.

I am looking for stuff to take to carboot. unfortunatly if it is large
amounts i can not pick up. but if only a few carrier bags i can. I only
    have use of buses

I thought that there was a big hint in the name, car boot.

I saw that too, she posts on a few different areas of that site. She can "look forward" all she wants but doubt she'll get anything :rotfl:

Something that really gets me is just how blooming awful both spelling and grammar is by the members.

I know it sounds bad of me saying it but some are so illiterate that they just make a total mess of every post, I am sure that they lose out because of it too.

Sarah, I got that email too, we tend to repost good admins on most of the groups.

Helen, Yahoo has a problem with losing emails often - I recommend people use their own email rather than Yapoo.

It may be laziness or illiteracy but personally I think its people using smartphones to post. They get used to using "text speak" and don't realise how it looks on a PC screen or how they come across as a result. Its not an excuse though and it gets my back up too.
