Time Line
She didn't realise she was pregnant due to the long hours she works :rotfl: and now she does know she's pregnant she's been made redundant.
Why bother with Freecycle when there's obviously a huge case for discrimination there. Made redundant as soon as you find your pregnant
It may sometimes seem like I can't spell, I can, I just can't type0 -
I cna't believe no one has been kind enough to offer a brand new £66 Storio or any brand new £17 games. People just aren't as thoughtful as they used to be, are they?0

I recently offered 2 high sleepers and was inundated with replies. Most people wanted both with quite a few only having 1 child but want the other as a "spare"
I offered one to a man who only wanted one and his email was so polite, he rang straight away and was over the moon.
I offered the other one to someone who asked for both and her reply was "well if I can't have both there is no point in having 1 cos the kids will argue" :eek:0 -
lol - not quite freegling:Wanted xxxxxx Handyman who can put a fence panel
back up for me. I had a fence put up in summer ( not very well ), one end panel is in metal shoes that need bolting to concrete base I don`t have a suitable drill to make the holes and the next panel needs putting back up. Wanted : Chocolate fountain, Will beable to pick up, Email me on *personal details removed by moderator * if anybody has one going, Thanks.
Well, of course. A spare chocolate fountain is JUST the thing all of us tend to have lying around the house and cluttering up space. NOT!0 -
On my local group, all from the same person within 2 mins of each other. I have copied and pasted these verbatim:
WANTED: FRIDGE FREZZER
WANTED: WASHING MACHINE
WANTED: PS3
WANTED: GAS COOKER
WANTED: DISHWASHER0 -
At least they didn't specify these had to be Bosch or Neff!0

Actually they may well do, people but these things and put them in the back of the kitchen cupboard after a few months.
A chocolate fountain is such an object.
This is how Freecycle works, the wanted post remind people that they may have it somewhere and they consider that they no longer need or want it but have just never bothered about it.
I got a Senseo coffee maker this way, someone no longer used it.
I use it daily now.
Then when the person gets their chocolate fountain they may well offer it back to someone else on Freecycle when they have got bored of it. Exorcise bikes being a typical example0
