Wanted : Chocolate fountain, Will beable to pick up, Email me on *personal details removed by moderator * if anybody has one going, Thanks.

Well, of course. A spare chocolate fountain is JUST the thing all of us tend to have lying around the house and cluttering up space. NOT!
we have, dd got one for christmas a few years ago, it was so messy that I think she's used it twice. It's in a box in the cupboard under the stairs :o
  • ohhhh sooo cross!!

offered something yesterday on both my local groups get a reply off one and then from the other "already sent you a message thanks" - as if they had a god given right to it. So ok i thought - you are most certainly bottom of my list.

Given they were one of 2 and could pick up same day I did offer to them.

40 minutes after collection time i sent an e-mail saying I didn't like timewasters and was therefore re-offering. IMMEDIATLY i get a reply stating they were stuck in traffic for an hour (never at 5pm on a saturday night at an address next to a footie gound where a match was being played). and that they would collect in the morning. OHHH and get this - it is MY FAULT she was late taking her medication!!!!

I left it at that. Just had a 2nd e-mail from them having a go at me about my attitude and how I should be more accomodating.

REALLY winds me up - they won't be offered anything again and TBH I'd rather just bin stuff then waste my night waiting for no shows.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

It can be worth asking - we put one of these on as an offer. Relatives had been flooded out and the whole kitchen was replaced. The built-in cooker was well above the flood damage so was fine to re-use.

I just hate the phrase "thanks in advance". Makes the asker sound arrogant, like they know they will get what they want!!
  • This was for a brand new unopened Blackberry for sale on Ebay - she made ONE bid for £10 lol

"I'm really desperate to get a Blackberry because I can't afford brand new one from a shop, my daughter really wants a Blackberry for her Birthday and I just want to give her a present which she deserves.
Everytime I bid for the BlackBerry I get Outbidded and it ruins my dream, so please can you sell it to me instead of selling it on an auction
    I'm begging you, please"

I should have just sent it to her free of charge - even paid her bill for her LoL
  • 2nd time this one has come up on ours:
    WANTED - Frozen Meat
Are you cleaning out your freezer?

Don't throw away the meat, give it to me!

I use raw meat to make food for my dog, so I'm looking for any meat that you may have that's old or freezer burned or that you're just throwing out for whatever reason. As long as it's raw and unprocessed (no seasoned or smoked meats), and was fit for human consumption when it was frozen. Anything that swam, flew, walked or crawled is fine by us.

I'll gladly take it off your hands, and it will go to feed a very sweet and happy doggy.
