Wanting an entire travel system for a baby - but with a list of acceptable ones - and it was ALL stuff like bugaboos, silver crosses etc etc - you know, the BMWs of the baby-transportation world.
your eyes do begin to roll don't they. There have (in 3 years) been 2 bugaboos on mine (neither of which i have got

I always doubt the niceness/ saftyness etc if someone puts a big brand named item on.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Same here, had one before offering an ipod shuffle. Thought that it must be a scam, but replied anyway, only to recieve a reply saying "Sorry, it's gone, but if you go to [insert scam referral site here]....""Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

We've had a few high-ticket pushchairs (although calling them that doesn't quite reflect the eye-watering prices of them) with broken wheels and the like for repair - but then apparently to get replacement wheels you need to remortgage your house anyway from what I gather!
Quite annoyingly when I was about to put a request out (I hate asking for stuff) for baby stuff to see what I can get off the shopping list in advance of hammering away and starting to buy stuff - there's about three people (who are always always always posting wanteds on there) posting really grabby lists for everything for babies that they want - so there goes any hope I had to the point I won't even bother asking. Think I've posted one wanted (and it was for something ridiculous like a suction cup for a sat nav since the gits nicked mine) in the last 2 years as well!Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -

Oh gawd, embarrasing, only had one collection definitely arranged this morning and someone else has turned up before this person and took their items even though I double checked the name. Have had to post a "please can you get in touch with me and return those items" message as I haven't a clue who he was0
-
How have you arranged for a 2nd person to come?
Did you give your address to more than one person for these items?
Or was it someone completely unknown & if so how did they know about these items?0 -
Presumably it's someone who has had stuff from them before.0
