Exactly, still sitting in the pending pile .. makes you wonder where the pony is now (back garden ?), if they aint got adequate stabling for it now .. what they going to do for hay/straw/feed/bedding when it starts snowing and the weather gets really harsh . ?
A playhouse!!!! OMG Who on earth would find it acceptable to put a pony in a playhouse. Even Shelands can be quite stocky!!! Really shocked at that. I can understand having no stables - not all horses do but you could build a shelter if needed. Also a bale of straw, bale of hay and bag of chaff a week - every week - Are they going to put a wanted on for that???:mad:0 -

i love the sob stories that you get when you offer an item.
i love them that much that i usually ignore them! You got to get through what you've got to go through to get what you want but you got to know what you want to get through what you got to go through.0 -

If I see another post on freecycle asking for money for things I may well scream - Which part of the word free do they not get?
We have freegle and freecycle in the area - but I am thinking of just giving up on it all - Freegle is really quiet, and freecycle is full of wanteds, and people offering things for cash

I'm fed up of people being "creative with the truth" on my freegle.
1) a few months ago i asked for a car seat - specified which type (NOT the basic 1st stage carry handle one) but the next step up.................. got a reply yes they had one, yes it was def the right type. My husband trapsed over to the opposite side of town on public transport to fetch it (we don't drive but had family coming to stay who did and we were planning on taking the kids out).............. and it was the wrong one - exactly the same as the one we had.
2) today someone has advertised 2 childrens cars - a fisherprice one and a little tykes. We got 'gifted' the fisher price one which was actually a push along bike and didn't resemble a car in the slightest (we already have one of THOSE!! and it was filthy!).
Sometimes you just REALLLY want to tell them to stuff it (but when your boys know you have gone out to get something and you come home empty handed that is worse then bringing home the wrong item).loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

(for anyone not buggy minded this is £200+ of buggy)
We had one the other day that I actually commented to hubby was the cheekiest freescroungle post I'd seen. Wanting an entire travel system for a baby - but with a list of acceptable ones - and it was ALL stuff like bugaboos, silver crosses etc etc - you know, the BMWs of the baby-transportation world.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0
