Wanted: Ann Summers
hi does anyone have any ann summers things they want to get rid off ie
clothing and toys discretion assured
Clothes, maybe, but even then preferably steam cleaned and disinfected! Toys!? That's just horrible, I mean, I know they're expensive and all, but really!?dizziblonde wrote: »I met a teaching colleague a few years ago in one of the more "lively" parts of town who'd been given as a Christmas present from one of the kids one year - an Ann Summers "toy" - given with the really cheerful line from the kid that "my mum says you can have this cos now she's got the new boyfriend she doesn't need it anymore"... where's the vom smiley?

OK, this has made me really cross so I have to share...
On Wednesday evening I offered two mops on Freecycle. Our board is moderated so all posts get checked before being published and there is no telling how long it will be before your message goes live so I logged off Yahoo. On Thursday evening I email my chosen recipients only to receive the following reply
Hi , with us not hearing from you i assumed the mops had gone , we went to Asda today and bought a laminate floor mop
So not only do you have to offer your items on Freecycle, apparently you are also expected to remain logged on 24/7 so you can reply immediately, If you don't then you may miss out on someone charitable enough to take your items off your hands.....
Needless to say I am still stuck with the mops....£2012 in 2012 Challenge £2051.06£2013 in 2013 Challenge £500 -
I always put a disclaimer on mine saying "look I'm still on pre-mod status so it might take a while for my message to go through, and for any taken posts to go through as well - I'll be checking my email at X point in the evening" to pre-empt things a bit.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

But thanks for the tip about telling people when I'll be checking messages.£2012 in 2012 Challenge £2051.06£2013 in 2013 Challenge £500 -
Bought a baby rabbit but don't want to put her straight outside, small indoor cage wanted! Can collect any time. Thanks!hi its a long shot but i am in need of some fishing luggage carryall, holdall etc and even a couple of carp rods if anyone has anything going spare its just that my 11yrs old son has taken an interest in fishing since a day out with a friend carp fishing now he has a few things that were given to him rod rests, umberella, landing net handle, small fold up stool,a small box full of weights hooks etc and 2 old bait runner reels but he has nothing to put anything in to carry it all plus he has no rods, and he says he would like his own stuff for next time he goes (whenever that will be i dont know but i know he is planning something) because he said he was scared of breaking anything of his friends and he did'nt feel right using his friends tackle because he had got most of it for christmas(bless him) so i thought i would post on here first to see if anyone had anything spare to help him out we dont really want to go out and buy all new tackle for him just in case its just a phase he is going through. if it is anything lucky enough to be gifted to us on freecycle shall be re-posted back on the site.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. It's the recurring askers that annoy me.
The same woman has been asking for a Kenwood chef for months. Couldn't she have saved up for one by now?
And as for the weekly request for Elvis memorabilia....
But, having said which, I gave away a TV last night. Nice, polite family took it and far better than sending it to the tip...that's why I stick around.import this0 -
just offered an item, got one response saying sorry but dont have transport do you come up to **** very often. Does that mean she expects it to be delivered ? How on earth can you request items on freecycle if you are not willing to get out and collect it, I feel like saying No i Dont come up to ***** (this is 15 miles away) but there is the no *** bus that goes from there to here every 30 mins !!!!
Make £200 by end of January... £20.42/£200

That poor animal will more than likely become an 'offered' as soon as that person is bored with the cleaning, feeding, vets bills, et al.0 -
