    The mind boggles...

If anyone has an Xbox/PS3/iPhone that they "no longer require" surely they would be thinking "Hmm... How much could I get for this?"

Oh, hang on though, this laptop is cluttering up my coffee table a bit. I shall pop it in the bin later after I have hoovered the lounge......

Just wanted to chime in, this thread is hilarious!

I have had only good experiences with freecycle so I must be one of the lucky ones.

Posted a 'wanted' once for cardboard boxes for moving, luckily one response was from down my road! was a huge help.

I also managed to get rid of half a bag of unused cat litter (my pet had died) to a lady whose cat was on her last legs... nice to be able to help

With regards to animals, obviously it is a shame to see them posted on freecycle, etc, but it is better than them being abandoned...

When I moved away from Uni I rehomed a big goldfish - it was in a pond for a year but my house back home didnt have a pond or suitable tank, and I was worried that if I left it the next lot of students in the house wouldn't care for the pond like I did, so I freecycled it and a lovely old couple came to get it - they even sent me a photo of it in their pond with lots of new fishy friends!

I think this is quite a sweet request, ...Wouldn't a stereo do?!

I am looking for a computer for the St Andrews methodist congregation of which I
am a member of. Due to ill health of our pianist, we are in need for a computer
to play Hymm tunes for us during church services. Because the church premises is
use for other activities during the week, an old LAPTOP is preferred (for easy
mobility) though a desktop or separate units of monitor and system unit will
also be accepted. Thank you and God bless you all.

Why not? I make my own writing ink amongst other things and actually a bunsen burner would be very useful! I use the gas hob at the moment :D

There was a rather worrying one on my group this week.
