just what i mean, another ignorant one, has no idea about these systems, come on then know all, How much a bag does it cost? Then how many needed? how much per 20 litre colour tubs?
Go on then - tell us. How much material and how much labour to justify a £6k price tag?
.................... these systems are dearer than your prehistoric standard sand & cement
Lol - you know nothing abut me and you haven't been reading what I have been posting have you?

OK then heres a question for you: Are you talking about K Rend or are you talking about the muck that Protectacoat, Weathertex and Shieldtex throw on your building that offer no benefit at all coupled with their dubious scaremongering sales tactics that target vulnerable people and scam them out of 000s of pounds? I'm talking about the latter so what about you?
but offer much more to help with the thermal and insulation of a property.
Yes thats entirely my point with an older property with these sprayed on systems than are no more than an obscenely expensive decorative coating - they stop them breathing and at what cost?
You get what you pay 4, and if you do a 3 bed semi (100/110 mtr) in 3 days come work 4 me, we take six.
:rotfl:Funny man. I never claimed that at all. I said that the likes of Protectacoat do it with a few hundred quids worth of materials in 2/3 man days. So specifically what product do you apply in 6 days?

Right now another question which I'll repeat as you ignored it. Do you work for Shieldtex or its parent? Shieldtex being the phoenixed Protectacoat of course.

    Cheers

No k-rend or grc render(thats what protectacoat use) im talking uderputz, or tz1 from the alsecco systems, sm700 from the mamorit systems, or plenty more that you have no idea about, seems to me k-rend & protectacoat are your total knowledge of the render systems out there. TAKE THE BLINKERS OFF M8,

And stop being pathetic, anyone one who praises a product on here are always accused or working for the said company, so you repeat all you like, like my previous thread to the lady who inquired "do not call shield-tex" or protectacoat as they were called.
Now why would i do that if i worked for them DUH

Once again you totally miss the point which is about the underhand, unethical and downright criminal activities of these companies who fleece peple left right and centre. Its theft by another name for a purely decorative coating that doesn't last - why on earth did protectacoat go into voluntary liquidation? Because they couldn't meet their guarantee commitments would be one very good answer I'm guessing. So much easier to shut the company down and phoenix as Shelidtex. I don't give two hoots about properly applied rendering systems because thats a totally different issue and not what I'm talking about and theres you telling me to take blinkers off. Good grief.

    Cheers

PS You did actually say you used to subcontract for them and you've also been spamming this forum by indicating people should contact you for better quotes BTW.

I don`t miss that point, and have agreed on here many times regarding there sales and charging what they can get away with, and yes they have no concern to the customer what so ever, ita all about commission.
I apply properly render systems both to the private & commerical sectors. The systems i use work, look up alsecco, mamorit , sto or cem-rend.
Yes i sub- contracted for them, but never again, 3 weeks was enough, if i was to mention 1/3 of what they used to do you wouldn`t believe it.
So if someone on here has been quoted £10000 by them to complete there property, why should i not offer a system £3/4000 cheaper, surely that called business is it not!

And as for "your statement" spamming, two others on this link have offered there services BTW, are they spamming too!!!

You have also stated a quoted price £10000 you recieved, this is high also,a three bed semi can be completed for around £5/£6k in these systems
    ewcs wrote: »
...................and as for spending a fortune to have it applied more fool you, its no more than 25% dearer than sand & cement,
    ewcs wrote: »
.................the customer is charged £6000 £7000 and higher and the fitting team get paid less than £1000 between 2 men. With rushed jobs corners get cut and customer complaints are high.

the standard height for a semi is 5,4 mtrs and between 90 and 110 mtrs all round, not 10 mtrs that would make it between 170 and 190 mtrs and at £22 a mtr your over charging by £1760

Once again please justify the £ 5-6k price tag.

    Cheers

Oh right there spamming too are they, i would say they are offering there services, but hey lets beg to differ, after all everybody on here who passes over information/web details/contacts etc is spamming according to you it seems.
Someboby earlier asked about kitchen worktops, i hope whoever replies don`t mention brand names or certain stores, cos if you see that reply you might accuse them of spamming too. You never know they might be Mr Magnets, or Mr B&Q`s or Mr Homebese`s family members.
