Why not just leave it as it was?

It looked fine before with just the username, join date, location & posts etc.

Er, why can't the sytem automatically drop a 'white rectangle' avatar into each newly created user account, until such time as the user decides to personalise it?

I have eyesight problem and always need to enlarge the font, so anything like the lines which make reading easier in the new look forum will get the thumbs up from me.

Love the new look, apart from the username issue, I feel especially conspicuous with just one letter over lol.

Just wondering if the multi-quote button could be bigger so it says what it is- personally I find it much more useful than the quick reply if space is a issue (not sure I've ever even used that, as far as I can tell it takes you to the bottom?).

hmm.. bit of x files here me thinks... the visitors can't see them, just us.. the chosen ones....:rotfl: instead of smoking man, we have shadow man!

Anyway, Martin has said he thinks it is probably part of the template software but am sure there is a way to turn it off completely so we don't have any avatar at all if we choose not to.
