I would like to see a re-design of the page masthead; at the moment it looks dated. The red text on green background is jarring to the eye. A crisper font would also look better.
'Previous' and 'Next' buttons on either side of the page number boxes at the top and bottom of multi-page threads would make navigation through the pages easier.0 -
Hi Martin et al,
Hi, I didn't think you've mentioned noting the feedback about the lost 'go' button on forum jump, ie so that we can still refresh to the top of the current page. I think this is a loss of a realy useful bit of navigation for everyone on a laptop, due to annoying vertical scroll bars.
Sorry if you have noted it, but I couldn't see it listed in your OP of this thread.

Where has user cp gone, how do I get to see subscriptions.
EDIT its ok I found it under subscribed threadsI always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...0 -
The new icon to indicate "sticky" threads is not very good.
The image --->is (1) very hard to see, and (2) really in it's appearance does nothing to indicate what it is supposed to represent.
The old pin --->was much more appropriate.
I also agree with previous comments about the new subscribed thread icon. New --->rather than the better old --->
The same with the new "go to last post" icon. --->rather than the old --->

Could anybody tell me what cookies to keep.
I clear my cookies daily with Ccleaner, and afterwards it changes back to the old look. So I have to keep coming back to this thread to reset it.0 -

Split username on posts: Yes I can see that for longer usernames that does happen, but then again making the left smaller has improved the overall dimensions. We will put our heads together about anthing we can do.
The Traffic Light: Glad you like the traffic light which shows whether a poster is online or not it was quite deliberate (ok I admit i only noticed it when i read the feedback, don’t know if the team added it or it was just in the template J)
Hover over of the first post in the main forum menu: Yes you can read that in the old forum not in this one – don’t know why its gone but will see if its possible to bring it back
View status box: Someone wrote this is too big – im afraid I wasn’t quite sure what this referred to – please do let me know
The split user name isn't a problem if it makes sense (ie mine) however if you have someone like southernscouser the amount of characters leaves the 'ser' odd.
The trafic lights were always here but it is much much smaller on the old version. I don't see it a problem as the size on the new forum except it looks odd/over sized but it doesn't impact the use of the forum.
The hover works for me (running Mozilla 3.5.9) always has. However I know there is a function on IE to turn it off but can help any further on that.
I pointed out the thread stats box could be too big and effect a SOA posting on the DFW forum. However as seen on this post its totally fine. Saying that though I do think it would look much nice as a bar not a box as posted above but thats just my personal opinion.
The only other thing I noticed late last night are the tags are now shown next to my subscribed threads in my user cp. Its ok but it means the title is now squashed over to the side and therefore unreadableThankfully only 1/2 has this so far.
Used it for over a day kind of non stop and still love it. I don't think I will ever go back to the old 'ladder' style :rotfl:0 -
Generally I love the new look as it is more modern and clearer, but I am having a regular problem with the "Thanks" button - it often resets itself.
Like many people I use "Thanks" to track my competition entries in the Competitions Forum, so it's important that it stays clicked !
Other than that I'm looking forward to a full roll-out :T
