I like the cleaner look of it, but I do find that green rather unpleasant so going back to the old one I'm afraid.

Edit: actually it's the amount of green everywhere that bothers me rather than the actual shade!

Overall ok - and I know it is just 1 extra step but the User CP button being on the toolbar means I click on it straight away and probably won't if I have to keep remembering where it is.....on other fora it is on the toolbar so it just makes it easier to navigate.

user tools is right above the toolbar,and isnt an extra step?

As per NicNacs post, there is no "go" button to go between threads on the forum jump dropdown so I cant use the new one as its too much hassle going in and out of different forums just to get back to the one you were already in.

I have read the original post, but not the subsequent comments. I like the new look for its 'crispness'.

I am not very keen on the 'shadowy head' (or whatever they're called) avatars, where users haven't put a picture in themselves, on any forum, but that seems to have gone?

I was wondering that too but now i think it's this at the bottom of the threads (on the old style)

I think the main things that should be changed are (IMHO )

• Fix the thanks
• Make the Abuse button go to a web form instead of mailto
• Put usernames in bold
• Get rid of Mr Boring and have nothing, like before
• Put User CP back (or have a more obvious "Subscribed Threads" button, as some people don't realise that User CP takes you there... User Tools on the new look is too obscure for regulars so imagine newbies?)
• Left align the info under the avatar
• Perhaps make a way of marking threads on the main page (but not subscribing) for those who do comping.
