I would like the subscribed Icon to be bigger, it's hard to see what threads you're subscribed to. That little arrow is a bit meaningless.

Could we see threads we have thanked on. Would be especially useful on the comps board and will save time opening threads we've already seen.

The green highlighted box on the left of posts is a bit meaningless, perhaps just have the OP in green, so we can see easily if the OP has posted again.

Usernames need to be in bold and the users details need to be aligned better.

Some more and different smileys would be great too!

I don't report that many posts/thread I may add because I tend to spot them too late. However when I have had to report them its not at all hard. If it helps keep the forum under control/safe then typing (c&p'ing) a small email does't take that much time

No need for all that copy & paste! You simply need to set up an e-mail client and the abuse report is automatically created for you to send.

I prefer the old look, so I'm pleased that we'll have the option of switching back.

Not everyone wants to set up n e-mail client. indeed to be a member of a forum it is not essential to have an e-mail client, but still everyone would like the right and ability to report abuse, a lot of members cannot be bothered with setting up separate e-mail clients nor go about copy n pasting from one site to another, just to report abuse, generally opting for the easier method of not bothering - which I think is a problem with abuse, some members will rely on other members to report abuse or spam, rather then go to such trouble in reporting it themselves.

MSE relies on it's members to report abusive posts or spam and constantly request members do so rather than turning a blind eye to it.

This being the case it should be made as easy as possible for EVERY member, rather than expecting them to set up separate e-mail clients or copy n pasting from one to another, just to issue a report for the team to "look into" and consider.

Yes, I know. So - instead of clicking 'user CP' you have to click on 'quick links' then move your mouse to 'User CP' and click that.

Which is one extra step from just clicking 'User CP'. Two in fact if you could moving the mouse as well...

He means this obscure button - User Tools on the right hand side of this banner... it took me a while to spot it!!

Although I do like the new look I reckon I'll wait a while. After switching I realised I had entered a few comps more than once - the thanks button didn't seem to be working:eek:, or at least the problem only started after switching. But keep tinkering...:T

I haven't read all the feedback so this might already have been mentioned, but the signature on your post is very close to the text that you have written. I think another line space would make it more obvious that it is seperate from your post.
