There are 2 huge speech bubbles overlaying a tiny bit of visible background. That background changes colour when you've selected a post for multiquote, but it's far too small, and too subtle a colour change to be obvious to all but those with perfect eyesight

agreed,im on a 24" monitor and its not that obvious

Not sure if mentioned, but I think having the OP in a different colour helps to identify them in long threads, small thing admittedly, but i'm sure it would be useful

Good idea! Although, maybe it should be opt out when creating the OP cos some threads (like chat threads) it would be unnecessary.

The abuse button is there for any user of MSE, you don't have to be a registered user of the forums to use it, as it should be. As espresso said it has been discussed many times and is unlikely to change. As regards spam the spam button has made a big difference and works very well.
