For £9.99 you can have a rose named after anyone you like. I got one delivered to my Aunt and Uncle for their Sapphire Wedding Anniversary.

Thanks for all your suggestions :D . In the end i just decided to get her some nice flowers and a token present of a small jewellery box for the bits and pieces she's got. she seemed happy enough with that!

I surprised my hubby with a day trip to London, including a ride on the Eye and afternoon tea at the Ritz (booked beforehand). Not very money saving, but a thoroughly enjoyable day.

    Hiya :)

There are quite a few threads of a similar nature on the Families board which might inspire you, so I'll move you across...

    Good luck :)

I think by the age of 60 they'll have enough "stuff", so no ornaments. Perhaps a picture? What about membership of a club? What social activities do they have? If they're short of hobbies, perhaps you could suggest something and buy appropriately.......gardening........family history........rambling.......national trust membership?
  • Hi, not sure where the best place to post this is, so feel free to move!! :)

I desperatly need help/inspiration of what I can get my dad for his 60th birthday? I really want something he can keep to remind him of the day.
Price range - under £100 prefably (sp?) and I know your all going to ask what is he in to, or does he has hobbies, and no cant think of anything?! except he likes a drink - especialy wine, and enjoys the garden

    Help?! lol
