I can confirm the premium 360 bought with prey kicks in the discount.
Sooooooo embarresed when I had to say that I can't find my card but have enough cash for my groceries. Supervisor was called to void, worth a shot anyway.
    Good Luck to you guys.
  • i notice the nds consols are on offer of £10 discount if bought with new mario brothers...

Anyone know if this works ie discounted at till .....or not ie available as a possible r&r ?

Ahh..there's your answer then. Tesco has updated the system to make it work with the game of the week. Still worth a shot if the POS says "£20 off Xbox360/PS2 & Game", as it doesn't specify which game. Just make sure you don't buy the game of the week. :p

It's amazing how fast Tesco can act when the misprice/overcharge occurs on expensive items. They never act quickly over things like Ecover washing powder. They are quite happy to let the smaller items slip, as it isn't costing them a lot of money. However, when people start asking for Tesco to apply their policy to items costing anywhere between 100-300 quid, Tesco soon moves to get the mistake rectified.

Quick by Tesco standards. The Ecover problem was around for weeks, with people claiming R&Rs all over the place. Hell, I got it twice in the same store with a 2 week gap in between! Considering it's a bank holiday weekend, I think Tesco acted pretty fast to update the system. They weren't much faster rectifying the PC !!!! up. However, the dodgy POS is still showing in some stores. As I said earlier, communication isn't Tesco's strong point.

That POS was amazing. What a complete !!!! up. Whoever was supposed to update the system to discount the £20 when bought with the game of the week also deserves a kicking. ;) I think it's wrong of Tesco to refuse the R&R, as the policy definitely applies in this case. It really is Tesco's !!!! up and for this, they should honour their promise and cut the crap excuses about the promise not applying to special offers, etc, etc...

    I tend to agree.

Can't understand how it went on for so long what with this thread being so heavily monitored by Head Office and all....;)

    Yeh, Yeh, good one.....not biting.

    Seriously though Constantine,

What is your personal view on this.

Do you think that we all have a chance of R&R on this? I'm sure that you have read our previous posts.

MyusernamesTaken: The poster was still there and a little yellow label under Prey, I thought to go with the real deal & fingers crossed the discount wouldn't come off as Mcdonog. I would of lost in any case as my nerves always get to me if not the 3 kids first. Can not beleive Suduko was still mispriced unless they have updated it to £14.85 as I had this from there last week. Only brave enough for one misprice at a time.

Thing is, did the large POS say anything about the game of the week? If not, I'd argue that a little yellow SEL under a game is not enough to indicate that you must buy that specific game with the console. In my stores, the POS merely says "£20 off Xbox 360/PS2 & Game". There were yellow SELs under a couple of games (price and end date of offer showing), but nothing on the shelf to connect the the games with the offer on the consoles. Obviously, it's a lot harder if the POS in the store mentions the game of the week and clearly indicated what that game is.

Tesco in Upper Boat still has the £20 off with any X-Box or PS2 and game. I'm not going to attempt it here as it is my local Tesco where I shop every week. If any one has any success here please post and let me know.

Well if the sel is back up in Upper Boat they deserve all they get, thats a big store and I am sure they would have been contacted to remove it. If I wasn't so tired I would go there now and try it myself!
