  • Hi FullTimeMum.

It would be better if you started a new, separate thread for this as you will get more people's ideas....this thread is specifically for a challenge that was set up (sorry if you are part of that challenge but I couldn't see you in the first 4 or 5 pages).

if you start your own thread you will have the whole Debt Free Wannabe society reading your story!

Sorry didn't want to hijack the thread, you just all seem like such nice people :)
and I wasn't sure where to post - will be daring and try a brand new thread

You're right, not officially part of challange - just officially inspired!

    Good morning all.

It may be early (6.30) but I'm feeling good this morning :D

I have just called to pay a chunk off the credit card. The total paid off this month is actually £1315!!

So I have completed the challenge. I am not only a little bit further out out debt but surrounded by a lot less junk and it has boosted my esteem no end. Thank you for your support every one :D

Well done mrs mug :T:T:T. If you pm me your address, I'll send the champagne winging its way to you!!!I've just managed to pay some more off my total, taking it down to £400 left to go, which I should be able to pay off in the next couple of weeks. I'm also expecting £885 back in bank charges after Lloyds failed to enter a defence to my claim. Woo hooo!

Well done Mrs Mug!!!!! You've cleared that in record time :T :T :T :T

Enjoy your champagne, you deserve it :D;)

Unfortunately I've come to a halt but I will be selling some more stuff on Ebay soon which should help. I'm hoping to be able to finish this challenge during September though. :D
