    Anyone still in this challenge...?

I have just arranged £236.60 off my balance so that brings it under £1000 now....at £995.

Still a bit of a hill to climb but at least I'm under £1k now and that includes the falling off wagon incident (ahem...I added about £200 instead of paying it off......D'OH!)

    How's everyone else getting on?

Hi - I completed my second £1000 in this challenge last week - but as I'm embroiled in the 18k challenge now, it seems silly to be posting in two threads for the same work IYSWIM? I will, of course, keep following y'all though.

  • Hi there,

The interest in this thread appears to have died a little, with all the other challenges that have kicked off and with so many people completing this one already, but I'll still update for anyone still reading.

We made the normal monthly DD payments of around £700. Plus we put £500 into premium bonds (I know, I know, I read Martins weekly email about Premium bonds being bad, but I'm a sucker for the £1 million possibility). DH got an extra £150 in his wages and I got £94.95 from Quidco.

£1200 left to go in the second phase of the H2H challenge - looking at February now to complete. I'm amazed when I look at my signature that come February on my 1st anniversary since joining MSE, we will have paid back nearly half of what we owe - FIFTEEN THOUSAND POUNDS!!!

Anyone else still doing the H2H?
Total Debt November 2016 =£9,660.52

    Monthly Repayments = £593.09

Goal to be debt free December 2017/ Savings £500 :T
  • Well would you look what I found! :D

I don't know who is still "in" this however I thought I would update it to say this month I pay £300 off of it (the money has already been set up to leave bank account on 10th Jan) so I am down to £500!

    Anyone else remember this/still participating????
