EDIT: £15 paid off today. That'll be it until payday now (unless a miracle occurs...) What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -
Hello everyone
I am very sorry but I'm going to have to drop out of the challenge. I feel really bad seeing as it is my challenge in the first place!!
The reason for this is that a while ago I borrowed £2,000 from my mum which she now needs back ASAP. Seeing as my mum is far more important than Capital One, I'm going to be delaying paying off my Capital One card until I've got enough to pay my mum back.
Please all continue with the challenge, I will still be reading this thread and cheering you call on
Good luck to you all

Aw, that's a shame Emily. Maybe we can do a challenge again in better times! Take care xxJanuary budget

Don't drop out - just replace who the money goes to. Still aim to raise the money, but instead of giving the money to Capital One use it to pay your Mum back part of what you owe her. The idea of your challange is to get out of debt sooner, it doesn't really matter in the end who you pay.

I'll have to start again though, unless I say that I want to raise about £800 as my money from AQA is going to pay off the bulk of the £2,000 at the beginning of October.
Ok, I'll stay and say that I need to raise £800 which is roughly the same amount that was on my Capital One card anyway.0 -

Glad to hear you're not dropping out.
