  • I've been paid today so I've paid the amount specified on my snowball calculation sheet - £368.42, off the CC. Hopefully I will be able to clear the balance by the end of September.

My Husband re-took his GCSE Maths and got the result yesterday which was a B (no, I'm not married to a minor - he's 27!) so we are going out tonight to celebrate.

    Enjoy your evenings everyone!

I have a Halifax credit card with a balance of £462 that I want to clear. Anybody got a similar amount they wish to pay off something?

Managed to fit in an extra treatment today so will put the £15 towards debt. Down to £481.50, hubby gave me £1.50 to round it down to £480. Think this week will be slow as a week left till hubby's pay day and need to buy new school shoes etc. Have a good weekend everyone!

You are all doing so well - I feel honoured to be running unoficially even though I haven't actually paid a penny of my credit card yet

Remember it's not a race everyone and we will all be better off in the end :T

  • Moozie - you are definitely official in my eyes. That £2222 on your credit cards (just been reading your diary) will be paid off in no time.

    Marks, set, go!

    Hiya
Just to let you know that i'm out of the running now. Something has cropped up with the house, windows are falling out!, and I need to find nearly £5000 to put it right and it's not covered by insurance so my debt is going to change to £5000 again soon. Am I allowed to say 'oh poo!' on here!

Oh hun I so sorry to read that :( Hope you get it all sorted with the minimum expense. I think an 'oh poo' is definitely allowed and required in this instance!

I'm so sorry you can't finish. You have done so well during the challenge.

Hey, when your house is sorted and you know how much it's all cost, I'll start a challenge again with you. I've got £22K to clear, so I'll be in it for the long haul!

Best of luck with the repairs.
