Got offered from vodafone(new customer), 1gb internet, 300 mins, unlimited texts, 18 month contract, £25 for 10 months, £30 for the remaining 8 months.

Seems an alright deal, internet limit not as good as tmobile obviously though

Did you just ring them up and say what deal can you offer me, or did you try some cunning
    ploy?

Bit of both, went into the store and they offered me £35 a month, 18 month contract 300 mins etc but with 500mb internet, I walked away from that but they took some details and phoned me a few days later. At that time I got offered £26.50 for 15 months and 3 months at £35(they had the desire in stock at that point btw) with a 500mb limit(that was killed that offer for me, although I was tempted).

Held off for a couple of days, they called me tonight and offered me £25 a month for 10 and 8 months at £30 with the 1gb limit.

Its not as good as tmobiles FUP, and I am not signing up until tomorrow night(I live in hope t mobile will phone me and I can speak to them but I doubt it)

It appears that vodafone are keen to get business though

    Hi...

Why not go through a re-seller and pay £25 a month over 18 months with T-Mobile and get a free handset & the 3GB internet via Beepy. Plus you get an extra £70 cash back - http://www.!!!!!!!!!!!!!/ For some reason moneysavingexpert isn't letting me post links, so just google beepy mobiles.

  • not sure if a good deal, but as existing customer with 3 , got the Desire handset free of charge, mixture of 300 texts and minutes, internet, free 3 to 3 calls and voicemail, free delivery, free 4 gb memory card and skype for £22.00 per month with a £10.00 credit against my first bill on a 24 month contract.delivery promised and received within 48 hours . Oh plus phone was unlocked. All in all pretty happy

Has anyone gotten theirs through buymobilephones ?

    Looking at:
    T-Mobile £30

    600 cross-network mins + Unlimited texts • 18 months
    £ 30.00 a month
    4 Months FREE by redemption

    Effective Cost £23.33 a month

With the internet extra and the phone is free which is tempting

Cashback knocks another £1 and a bit off a month

Anyone know if they are reliable for the payouts? Had a redemption deal with dialaphone before which went issue free :)

    I need advice

Not sure whether to get my contract upgrade (trying to get an 18month contract upgrade) I would rather change tariff than keep my own tariff now (its very low) and pay £120 for the handset

Or to leave orange all together and head to tmobile - but then again, the CPW guy I was speaking to yesterday said Tmobile coverage in N.I is up and down, and basically rubbish...

I don't know - but I was planning on heading to orange and CPW on my lunch break and hopefully purchasing.

(the guy in the CPW store said they have the desires in stock - he also said to stick with orange - and was adamant I should stick with them -almost pushy)

    what should I do?

Definitely stay away from Tmobile in N.I. - it's a waste of time. I took out a new Virgin contract (they use tmobile network) and had to return the phone under their 28 day guarantee as it was constantly losing signal and the only time/place I could get 3g was in the heart of Belfast City centre.

Have the Desire now on Orange and the 3g is great, as is the phone! Even better was I got a 10% monthly tariff discount as my employer uses Orange for staff mobiles.
