Ryanair have messed around chronically with their homepage volcanic ash links since the beginnings of disruption.

Today all they have got are these:

News Updates If you click on the top one you had better be certain you do not want anything more than a simple refund because once you have submitted the simple data on linked page I don't think Ryanair will let you claim anything further under EC261/2004 in fact in small print at the end of the form that state "No changes to your request will be accepted once submitted." ... anyone know any different?

Unless Ryanair open up a web portal to submit receipts a la Eazyjet, the best advice is to send copies of your receipts for meals/accommodation together with a letter detailing your claim via recorded/signed for post to their office address.

Recorded Delivery is simply signed for First Class Post, but each individual envelope will not be signed for (as it should), only the mailbag containing the envelope actually is which proves absolutely nothing.

If sending in any claim I'd ensure it went via Special Delivery. It may well cost a little more, but better to be safe than sorry.

You are right. Which begs the question, what is the point of Record Delivery*?

*for send post to large companies.

Ryanair are based in Ireland, so to send it International Signed For will cost a lot.
