It's expensive enough without having to buy stamps in case people are stupid.

My confession today is that if h2b doesn't stop ignoring me to spend all his time on Facebook or football manager, I'm putting my dress on his computer, putting it into the wedding car and he can marry that instead. Grrr. I honestly wonder how long it would take to notice if something happened to me!

Lol, i know what you mean codemonkey. If h2b spent as much time looking at our info sheets as he did fantasy football, they would've been finished, printed off and posted out a long time ago!

Could be worse though, i had an ex boyfriend that lived on Guild wars. He would spend all day on it, i would arrive at HIS house after I'd finished a full days work and he would only get up to open the front door. I would make us dinner and he would stay on the pc. I would knit, watch telly, read and then go to bed and he would STILL be on GW. Sometimes he would come to bed at 4 in the morning. You needn't guess why we split up...

Is absolutely fuming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad: i could cry

My mum has been emailing our wedding coordinator with regards to last minute wedding details and in this email it stated that there will be another wedding on the same day as ours when we specifically was told before we booked the venue that there wouldnt be and thats one reason why we booked the venue. We are getting married in the hotel and the "Other wedding party" will be using the hall thats on the hotel grounds - I am really not happy!!!!!!!!

Aww thats awful...so many people choose places purely for having it exclusive. Obviously check what your contract says, but also find out about just what it means with this other wedding. Do you know where this hall is in relation to your bit of the venue? Will they be using the same area of grounds that you will? I'm asking that as my friend got married at a beautiful place and when going round to view it she fell totally in love with it, the price was right etc etc. Then they told her that they couldn't bill it as exclusive because of a separate annex. She was gutted initially but they showeed her where this annex was. It was a very separate building, and even was contained within it's own part of the grounds so her party and the others were nowhere near each other, and she also saod that she was treated like a princess and there was no compromise on the service she received. It may be that it's a similar situation at your venue?

This is prob not what you want to hear but please bear it in mind:

They will not cancel the other wedding.

You'll have to get your head round it as best as you can, check your contract and possibly go after a partial refund.

you can just see on the left is the hotel.......

were supposed to be having our photos inside it and outside on the lawn. The other wedding is at 4.00pm and our photographs ends around 3.30pm so inside will be set up for the other wedding :mad::( and not only that the wedding party will be arriving aswel

I know i have to try but i cant get my head around it because its made me so mad!! I certainly will be looking at our contract as soon as we get home

Totally unrelated to weddings or planning but I'm going to commit murder! Seriously! Our neighbour is 89 years old and has living with him his 17 year old grandson who's girlfriend pulls up every night to fetch him and then sits in her car bibbing her horn until he hears her and comes out! She's now been sat outside in the road for 20 minutes and every 2 minutes will hoot on the horn! Now I can hear her, and so can all the other neighbours but he just can not!

I was 2 seconds away from opening the door and pouring honey into her horn and she drove away with him in the car! I swear, I have my honey ready and tomorrow night when she bibbs at 21:30 then I'm going outside to destroy that hooter!

to the poter with the venue problem: you definetly need to read that contract asap, and I would loook into suing either for breach if contract or misrepresentation.

When me and my Oh went ring shopping we had a few fruitless trips, then one day I was in town with a friend and found the perfect ring. When I went to pay i saw that they did 10 months interest free so went for that, thinking oh it will boost my credit rating which will improve our mortgage application. After filling out the paperwork the shop later rang me asking me to ring them back - when I did the woman who answered the phone shouted for the manager sayig "phonecall for you its the interest free lady". turns out they hadnt given me another form to sign so when I went back to do again they reffered to me as the interest free lady in front of some other customers. way to make me feel like a cheap scummer
