Thanks for the tip! I'm so doing this as well! Got 4 single girlfriends all but one of them are school friends so not giving them a +1!0 -
Oh crumbs, now I'm wishing I'd numbered the RSVPs so I know who they were for EEK!0

That is a brilliant idea!!0 -
I only did it because a lot of my cousins still live with their parents. The parents are invited to the day, the cousins to the evening. I just *knew* that if I didn't fill in names on the RSVP cards, the cousins would have tried their luck and RSVPed to the day (day invites went out earlier then evening)Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

They are great ideas putting the names on the RSVPs! :j
We're expecting most of our guests to RSVP via the wedding website. The prevent any accidents the password to the RSVP page to the all day guests is different to the evening only guests.
Also the all day password gives access to the "wedding breakfast" menu choices and daytime details.:kisses2: Got married September 2011:smileyhea

the nerd in me required that i put numbers on all of the rsvp cards (i knew i might have a few friends who couldn't bring their other halves so if i put they're names on it would just confuse me) and then i put the number into my spreadsheet of all the guest names, addresses etc beside the column for accept/decline
yes yes yes i know everyone keeps calling me geek when they here that one but it meant i figured out who the rsvp cards with no names were from.
i was also nerdy enough to write "please remember a stamp" at the back of the envelopes where the flap went over!!
worked too... everyone that sent them back had a stamp on them lol0 -
At least you got RSVPs, i've had to assume that 80% of the people we invited can't come since they didn't bother to reply!saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.

i emailed anyone who didn't reply or phoned them or got my mum and dad to phone their brothers and sisters who didn't reply (which most of no replies were from mind you)
they can't think it's rude for you to phone or email them when they don't have the decency to get back to you with a response!
there was a time when i though i might have to go and beat a few people for their responses but we've got 99% of them i'm still hounding a few for their final decisions mind you.0 -
For us, we knew really that they weren't coming, because if they were they would definitelly have told us they'd booked flights and things, but how hard is it really to send a little card or drop us an email? Not very!saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.
