Oh that sucks, you poor thing! Make sure you get lots of rest, you've not got long to go!!

you need support from h2b, don't take all this stress on when you're ill anyway. I think your parents need reminding that it's your wedding day, not theirs!!

Aw Shell, that's not good. I know how you feel and I haven't even got mumps too, that's must be making you feel 10 times worse . It's a really stressful time, but that's why we're all here, so come and rant on here and it will make you feel much better. I was that stressed the other day I took it out on the pen I was using, it was a really pathetic strop but it was that or punch someone! I'm not finding it fun at the moment either, but it will be worth it in the end :)

And her BM dresses are the same as the ones i've bought :( And now all i can think about is getting rid of them and getting new ones.

I am a bridezilla because I am immensley annoyed with myself for considering changing my outfit because half the people at the wedding will be looking at me thinking about how disgusting and shameful I am. So much for 'screw you, this is who I am and I am proud of it'.

Miss Pixie I'm intrigued. Are you having a naked wedding?

Haha no that would be much simpler if I forced everyone to come naked! I have been looking at gloves and or long shawl type things I could wear with my dress to hide parts of me that most my family find repulsive and no doubt a lot of oh family will too =\

  • I had a MASSIVE strop and rant at OH at the weekend and I feel really bad about it.

He and I went to the same secondary school and were both friends with a girl named N. At the time, N was dating a man called M. After N & M split up, I started seeing M (I know, I know). A year later she beat me up - smashed a bottle over my head, dislocated my shoulder, pulled clumps of my hair out...). Years later when I meet up with current OH, I found out he was still friends with N. Found out that she'd told him that there was 'a bit of an altercation between us' so she no longer speaks to me! Anyway he decided he didn't want to speak to her and she distanced herself from OH when he started seeing me. However, OH is friends with N's OH on facebook. And they're getting married in July. And he's invited OH.

All OH said was that D had sent an invite to their wedding party and it's fancy dress. I just let rip at him saying that if he expects me to be in the same room as her he's got another think coming. Then I pointed out that "ooh actually I've got a VERY fancy dress sitting in mum and dad's wardrobe at the moment, or I could wear the one that's currently at the dress shop awaiting collection".

Poor OH bless him waited until I'd finished my rant and said "I have sent a message to D saying that given the history between his fiance and mine, it wouldn't really be appropriate. It's nothing personal against him, it's her"

Is it wrong that I laughed at that Clearing_out_my_pockets? :rotfl: It sounds like the sort of rant I'd do!
