Ha ha! :rotfl: yes, how selfish! Well just make sure you get a bit clumsy with the red wine... Whoops!

Lol! If you go down this route you may have to ban red wine from your own wedding just in case the bride tries to get revenge! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks everyone, Tiara's response made me feel better, and the Buggly and the others made me laugh! :)

Though the waitress managed to spill the olive oil and balsamic vinegar dipping saucer on my white linen jacket, so might be karma for my jealous thoughts, lol. Fortunately a) they seem to have washed most of it out, and b) it was only £20 in Tesco, and I bought it with £10 double up Clubcard vouchers!

I'm a bridezilla because my OH and I were meant to be going to see the venue we're getting married at that HE wanted and now he can't go because he left it until the last minute to ask his boss and I have to go by myself. I'm not going because it obviously means that much to him to ask at 9am on the day, if I don't like it when I get there I will not walk down the aisle.

I am feeling very bridezilla today, the first of our generation of cousins (if that makes sense) has announced her pregnancy, my wedding will be the first time most of the family will see the baby. I'm delighted for her obviously but do feel a bit put out. My nan already said to me its the most exciting bit of news she's had all year (only told her about our engagement a month ago). Can't really say how I feel to anyone.

To be fair, I'd be peeved too...

As this is the bridezilla thread couldn't you say no children at the wedding, solves that problem ;)

Just thought I would let you all know that we are now all rebooked for April at last AND I have my ring, here's a pic for anyone who hasn't seen it on the April 2013 thread (oh and I just need any old excuse to show it off!)

    JTR congratulations, it's lovely.

We went to see the venue, I took my nana and just turned up. Didn't tell OH but his mate did who saw us come in did. Anyway we all saw the venue. It didn't make me go wow I love it but I suppose it's ok, although this may be because I'm a little deflated since he didn't show enthusiasm. I don't expect him to be all singing and dancing with excitement but I thought he'd have a little enthusiasm especially since the ceremony is technically the most important part of the day. I'm going back on thursday with my little girl and her friend for a day out so may pop in for another look around.

Thank you! I saw it last year in a local independant jewellers but when I walked past in April this year it wasn't there. I knew I wanted to look when we went ring shopping and they had another one :T, he said they rarely make them because the amethyst in that shape is hard to come by. I knew I wanted something a little different and I got it, just means I have to have a custom made wedding ring.....such a shame eh ;)

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D
