  • i am a real bridezilla today.......

we are off on holiday in 6 weeks to israel to celebrate passover with the OHs family, the one responsibility i gave him was to take the childrens passports to the post office and get them sorted so that they would be ready.

I have just found them in the filing cabinet with an 'oh thats where they are' from my OH, i have filled them all in and done everything all he had to do was take them 3 streets away and get them sorted!

he then asks me why i havent done it and my reply (slightly screaming) was i've been planning a wedding and going to work and sorting out my passport and the childrens israeli passports and my MILs passport and my SIL passport as all 5 of them have to have 2 passports to get in.

so now the holiday is touch and go as i cant do anything until monday and this doesnt bode well for the wedding as he has taken on things that he needs to get done otherwise we wont be getting married (mainly he is in charge of transport!)

    ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

Oh dear, that's not bridezilla at all - passports are important. OH did it for our summer holiday last year, all booked, great last minute deal and then he realises that he only has a month or two left on his passport and we need six months to travel. Had to go all the way to Wales and pay for a one day one! I hope you get it sorted for the holiday!

This is being an ultimate bridezilla...so please don't judge haha

My H2B's brother will be one of the best men at the wedding and will be in full traditional kilt gear like the rest of the wedding party. His partner typically dresses really overly casual (jeans and a wrinkled button shirt at someone else's wedding) and despite requests from future BIL to wear a dress for the wedding, she point blank refuses to. I understand that it's important for people to wear what they feel comfortable in which is fine. Her alternative was to wear a trouser suit, which the last time she wore one was ill fitting and all creased which looked very messy in the pics. I know that this is totally judgemental of me, but i don't want her in the pics looking a mess and when planning to ask partners to join the floor for the first dance.

Boooooooo! I wish i could totally have the right to decide on the outfits of my guests haha

lol, this post made me chuckle! We've been having problems with MIL2B and what tartan everyone is wearing. (she thinks everyone should wear the same). So much so, last time she brought it up, OH told her he was no longer wearing the kilt and would turn up in jeans, his luminous works jacket and steel toe cap boots!

Haha that sounds like it would be a good way to end the discussion about it! My H2B just finds it funny that his brother will be flashing more leg that his girlfriend will lol!

Going back to top tables... I'm gutted because I won't be in the middle! I want everyone sat boy-girl so it works out like this - grooms dad, grooms mum, best man, grooms daughter, groom, bride, brides son, brides mum, brides dad. My OH will be slap bang in the middle! It's just not on lol

If oh went on the end then it would have two males at the end. Could you put a bm or moh on the endon your side, so you are both in the middle?

I don't have a MOH, the other 2 brisemaids are 11 & 12 and want to sit with their family, fair enough! I thought about putting my sister who is my witness next to my dad on the end but she wants to sit with her family, again fair enough lol.

It's not a major issue... Just want all eyes on me!!!
