Wanchai, about £1000 so far, and more paid for by the NHS because I used to have an HC2 certificate (entitled me to cheaper NHS treatment, but not free). Most of that has gone on false teeth though, I have to have new ones made each year.

Thank you pinkprincess, I'm glad you like it. I'm not regretting her, she was within my price range and she makes my boobs stand to attention so overall, I'm chuffed to bits lol.

So sorry for hijacking the thread lol. I get awfully lonely during the day, you could say that this is the only grown up conversation I get.
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

Screamer it's a blummin' good job I'm on my own in the office today because I have just had a proper out-loud belly laugh at your post!!! :rotfl: What did she do when it hit her?

Hope you can figure out a way to find us a picture of the dress, I'm dying to see what caused the mayhem ;) Glad you're feeling happier about the Maggie situation - my dress is absolutely nothing like anything I would have picked prior to trying them on, but the styles that I loved in magazines just didn't look right on me. Think that's quite a common thing for brides when they see dresses "in the flesh".

She didn't do anything, just hunted the chicken fillet down, passed it back and carried on building the scaffolding under my dress lol. I'm sure she said something but I was laughing my head off so didn't hear her. Both the assistant and the boss had a laugh about it and that's exactly what I needed. If they hadn't have laughed I think I'd have left and never gone in a dress shop ever again.

I still haven't settled down though, still up and down all day. One minute I'm thinking happy, good thoughts and the next I'm curled up in a ball crying my eyes out with my poor doggy wondering why I'm pushing him away when usually when I'm upset all I want is a cuddle from him. I've barely eaten in a week, can't stop the nausea and have hardly slept in 3 days. OH thinks it's about time I went to see the doc but I don't want to hear what I already know is the truth. I've got enough illnesses on my records, I don't want anymore.

  • http://www.maggiesottero.com/ @screamer You probably know this site already then it is nothing new. I was thinking what if you buy it online but send measurements or get a tailor to measure you up? best of british and best of luck with your Wedding plans.
I am a Bridezilla and my confession is I wanna get married in ivory silk dress with proper Louboutins, don't need lots of money spent but it does have to be nice.

Screamer, your dress is gorgeous!!!! Looks a bit like an Alfred Angelo? xx

Ps. About your signature... You're definitely not marrying the most annoying man on the planet. The way my OH is behaving this evening he's lucky I've already paid too many non-refundable deposits ;)

Haha just had chance to catch up on here. Thank you for the giggle I really needed it. My day has turned completely upside down. The hit diamonds necklace that I won in eBay was apparently supposed to have a reserve on it and the seller now wants me to cancel the sale but will send some Avon samples as an apology.

Plus my mum has now decided that I should have another 4 bridesmaids. Im having mine and my OH daughters (they'll be 7 and 10) as bridesmaids and my best friend as my matron of honour. She's now decided I should also have my niece and three cousins from America. In one sense it would be nice to have my cousins (they'll be coming up 3, 19 and 21) as they'll be travelling all the way from the USA and I can see the point that if I had them then I should really have my niece. But it's more money we can't definitely say we can afford. Tried talking to my OH and he just doesn't see where I'm coming from And says I could have our daughters as ring bearers and blah blah blah. I'm not bothered about roles I just can't see how we can afford another 4 dresses, tiaras, thank you gifts etc etc. this wedding malarkey is so much more stressful than I thought it would be.

I'm thinking of getting mine whitened too! Properly, by a dentist. Is it harmful?

Nope, just expensive! About £300 we've been quoted.

We're getting the one where you have a jelly mould and you just buy the gel (about £20) every 12-18 months and wear them for a few nights to brighten them up again.

I had braces at 17-20, and then again at 23 (I'm 24 now) because my teeth moved again, so I've got permanent fixed retainers behind my top and bottom teeth now. OH still said I had a beautiful smile when it was all wire :o But in true Bridezilla style - I was NOT going to have braces on for my wedding! :rotfl::rotfl:
