I mis-read a part of this and thought it said:
'I walked out and regained my composure before ripping it out of her face'.

Was about to comment that actually ripping it out was extreme!!

:rotfl::rotfl: I read it like this too :rotfl:

Thought "that's not very composed" :rotfl:

If one more of my friends announce that they are pregnant I will scream!!! That's FOUR now due in the month before my wedding, only one of which was "planned", and so four people who are now "maybes" for my hen. Can people not keep their blinking legs closed?!?! :rotfl:

Hello ladies. I'm a bridezilla and my confession is.... I flatly refuse to get married in anything that doesn't have the label "Maggie Sottero" in it even though I can't afford a new one and can't get my hands on a used one!

Actually, the problem is I can't get out and about and get to dress shops like most people can, and I've got no one to go with me anyway. My fiance is my lifeline and this is one job I can't do with him in tow but I don't leave the house alone for a number of reasons. I can't drive, I don't know the area very well, I have no friends or family here and to be honest the thought of going shopping alone for my wedding dress makes me cry. I'm looking on ebay but I can't return anything if it doesn't fit and as for preloved, they're all miles away which gets back to my initial problem, not being able to get out and about. I'm spending all day every day looking for nice dresses that are within an affordable taxi ride from me and I'm failing miserably. And the Maggie obsession, that's because I've spent 2 years looking for dresses and Maggie's are the only ones that makes my tummy flip. They are sooooo gorgeous and many others just don't compare. Loads of cheap second hand ones out there, but I can't get to them :-(

Sigh, I thought this would be the easy part!
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

    Hi Screamer,

I think it's totally acceptable to have your heart set on something amazing. Why not... it's your special day! You say no family or friends nearby which is rubbish - is there anyone that would come visit you for the day and go shopping with you (and drive you around?). Whereabouts are you- you never know, there may be some brides around here that are nearby and would like company whilst they're shopping.

Oooh just noticed you're in West Yorkshire. Well I'm up and around there pretty often so another offer from me too!
