I was so excited when our lovely save the date cards arrived but have had a rather lack lustre response
I thought people would at least have a flash of enthusiasm about us setting a date (after 8 years together) so feel a bit miffed that most people haven't even mentioned it! I know people have more important things in their lives than our wedding but even if they're not bothered they could at least pretend for long enough to send a text that they've received the card!

I think I'm becoming un-bridezilla'd :eek::eek:
I've had two dreams in the past two nights that it was our wedding day and something went wrong (first time I didn't do my hair & forgot to put my bridal underwear on so had to borrow someone elses bra :rotfl:, and the second time we'd forgotten to give notice), but both times I just said "Oh it'll be alright" and everything turned out OK & I woke up feeling calm...
What is happening to me? Where has my irrational panicky side gone?! :rotfl:0 -

We saw a couple on our flight (we used air miles to upgrade) with "Just Married" t-shirts on.
They walked passed and went to sit in economy.
IMO, anyone wearing T shirts like that deserves to be down-graded to the luggage compartment!!
Seriously though, it is worth asking. I travel a lot for work and have a reasonable upgrade record (probably 30%) and I rarely ask for it - just seems to happen! I have found BA are usually the ones most likely as they seem to like their upper classes to be full. Although I think you'd have more chance as a single person than a couple, so perhaps mention at the checkin desk that you're on honeymoon and see what they say.0 -
Quick post as H2B is in the shower before he tries on the suit he bought today.........He's having a best woman (off topic but surely I'm the "best woman"?!) and if he says "I'll see what she thinks about wearing that" one more time I'm going to crack up. I think she should wear a nice lady suit so she looks more in keeping with the men and he seems to want her in a dress a similar colour to his suit. Why should she get a say? Most best men don't surely? Do they not just wear what they're told? And therefore why can't she?
Gaahhhh I'm usually so laid back about stuff like this, and I don't know if it's just because I'm a teensy bit insecure around her or if I'm turning bridezilla but I just needed to vent! Wish my MOH still lived in the same country0 -
My bridezilla moments:
Not even listening to what FH wants.. he has stupid ideas.
I will cry if someone does not come who i invite! i expect all my guests to be able to come!
I disagree with everyone who doesnt agree in MY way.
Im worrying about sending my save the dates out! i want the out NOW but still have 20 months left!0
