ohhh susann go to the pub!!! I looked into thsi and there are afew really nice pubs, cant you book a table or a room in one also you get to wear your dress out and about! im wearing my dress and we have a function room, but the main gets really busy and i cant wait to wonder through in my dress hehehee xxx

I am soo annoyed at my bridesmaids! Ordered dresses online and they said they were fine. 5 days after the 14 day grace period and now they don't fit, and arent nice and want to return them! What the hell?!?? What do I do?!? If I say no it p***es off my OH family! (problem bridesmaids are OH sisters.)

Tell them you can't afford new ones and if they want we ones they have to pay for them themselves.

Agreed. They said they were fine when they got them, so if they are now saying that they don't like them or they don't fit it's tough. Explain to them that they had two weeks to tell you about any problems and that replacements will now have to be paid for. Get your H2B onside as well so it's not just Bride v. Groom's family - after all, it's his money as well!

Got H2B to phone the company today and see if we can still return them. Luckily we can, so that's a relief. H2B said we should just let them get on with it- which tbh sounds very tempting! I think we are goin to give them £50 towards the dresses, (once we have the money back), but I am going to pay for my sisters (MoH) outright. But not tell them that! My sister was happy to wear the dress, even tho I could tell it was never something she woul choose by herself- she was doing it to make me happy.

argh glad to hear Im not the only one with problem bridesmaids! My sisters never been a bridesmaid and was genuinely chuffed at being asked to be mine but during a shopping trip last week moaned non stop about the colour scheme and the style of dresses! Our colours are chocolate and cream, she says they are miserable dull colours (I think they are soft,rich,classy colours myself) and kept picking up purple and green dresses and asking if she could have them instead. Then when I said it would be a full length dress she complained that it will be frumpy and boring. Er hello, its not supposed to be showstopping thats my job as bride!
