I am a Bridezilla and my confession is . .
We're having a small wedding and having my future step son as our page boy. I know my Future Mother in Law and H2B sister are planning on dressing up my future nieces as flower girls. This I don't want as I don't want them to take the attention away from step son, the groom or the bride.
Also my dress is champayne and I'm very concious should someone wear white or cream they will make my dress look 'dirty'
So I am currently contemplating putting on our invites 'The bride requests that the guest do not wear white or cream':o

Hi everyone....my name is nunnygirl....and I am a bridezilla
Today I received my second wedding dress.......that does not fit! What is it about dresses not being made for girls with a larger bust?
I get married 5 weeks tomorrow and still have nothing to wear
How about contacting a local seamstress and see if she/he can do anything with it?Turning our clutter to top up our house deposit: £3000/£303.05 we're on our way!0 -
Not possible any more sharpee.....I sent it back this morning and the lady who made it is going to make me a new one *superstar!*
I LOVED it.....made my (rather large) waist look smaller and was a perfect length for me (am having a tea length) but even if I hadn't sent it back and kept it to have it altered...it was supposed to have red flowers one it and was in fact a lot more pink!Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -

I'm a bridezilla and my confession is one of BM is doing my head in!
She got married in May, and when I announced I was getting married, her first comment was "well I will need a bigger BM dress as I will be preg by then!!!!" not- congrats or anything!!
She decided she didnt want to do to me what he SIL did to her (which was not be at wedding in the end as she gave birth days before, which she felt stole her focus!). She said they would try and time it so she was only 8 months by then!! Well, how considerate!!!!!!!!!!
Now I mentioned I need to order dress in 6 wks and what did she want me to do about size... she assuming she gonna be preg (been trying since their honeymoon, no sign yet)... she said she didnt know if she was gonna be 1 or 2 month preg by then, so didnt know about size.
The dress style has sweeping front, which would allow for bump, is laced back, so could be laced loose if preg...
All I want is to order dresses in 6 week!!!
I feel like she has her moment in May when she got married, fancy, all the frills etc which was ok for her.. I just want to sort my frugle, no fuss wedding- it is my turn!
God, I sound awful!!!!! :-(0 -
I'm a bridezilla and my confession is... I am overly protective of my date! My OH and I are having a really small intimate wedding, around 20 guests. OH was considering inviting another group of his friends, as one of them had presumed he was invited and sounded hurt when he was informed he wasn't. While OH was umming and aarrrhhing about it a couple out of this group of friends announced their wedding date...it's the same as ours!! now to be fair to them the groom out of them had emailed OH a while back to ask if there was likely to be a guest list cross over so they could consider that when booking their date and OH said its was unlikely there would be any overlap. But they knew it was our date so why pick it too??!!0

I am a bridezilla because my irritating groom has just told me that all organ music sounds like on hold music or lift music, so whatever I walk down the aisle to he won't like anyway, so I may as well just pick!!!
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
Guess this is gonna be another 6 month battle like for choosing the hymns, which are done now at long last!
(PS: I know that it actually doesn't matter, but hey, I'm allowed to be bridezilla every so often, right?!?!?)First date 10.2.2002

I turn into a Bridezilla everytime someone (namely MIL + Mum) say "That's not the traditional way of doing things":mad::mad:
I'm having a non-traditional wedding because having a traditional wedding is my idea of a nightmare, not the sort of day I want to start the rest of my life on.
Also, why is my family so much bigger than the OH's, it's making seating a nightmare ><0 -
I'm not sure if this falls under as Bridezilla-ish but . ..
We really wanted to get married on the same date as our first day which would be a Friday next year. We thought long and hard about it and decided it would be unfair to ask our guests to take a day off work so have booked our Wedding for the day after so a saturday.
Now H2B sister and her H2B have booked their wedding for next year. No big deal there however . . .
They are getting married in Tenerife in June and expect us all to go out for a week!:eek: Now H2B doesn't want to go full stop so thats all sorted but his family are now all up in arms as they expected us to come:mad: This just makes me :mad: for the following reasons;
1. I might be being made redundant in March and hence no job and we lose 2/3 of our income.
2. I don't get a lot of annual leave and don't like the fact that the wedding would turn out to be our Summer holiday, which I don't want to take in June but in August so I can have a holiday with my son.
3. The cost is going to be around £2500 just to go!
4. They all expect us to take DS out of school for a week which I refuse to do!
So now we're the black sheep of the familyand have had 'well its going to cost us money to come to your wedding'! Yes but only travel as we're paying for their accomodation and not asking for gifts.
So mad as we compromised on our date to ensure no-one had to book time off work and have made sure its not too expensive for all to attend. Yet we're expected to book a weeks annual leave, take DS out of school for a week and possibly have to fork out up to £3k to go to SIL wedding!
