    ARRRRRRGH.

    Yesterday, OH and I set up a page on Facebook so people could send us their addresses for invitations etc. I invited everyone who's coming, including my mum, sister etc., just for the sake of completeness. Now my mum's complaining *again* about the guest list as it contains names she doesn't know (i.e. close friends of me and OH...) My parents are helping with the cost of our wedding, and the way my mum sees it is that if she's paying, she can decide who comes!! :mad: Had to break it to her that that's not quite how it works actually! Gah... I know we're lucky to be having help with the cost, but surely that doesn't mean my mum can run the show.

    Is it wrong that all I can currently think is 'how can these people riot, they might ruin our journey to Devon tomorrow' when I watch the news?! I get married this weekend and do not stress like this!!!!!!!!!

    Am I really bad? My OH is a musician and has always wanted live music at our wedding reception evening party, and I don't mean a wedding band, but pop/rock bands. I'd much prefer just a disco but it is his day too. He used to be in a duo doing stuff I love and they may reunite for the evening to do just a few songs, and we have a friend's band also doing a bit, but OH was determined he would play with his current band...who play swamp rock (deep south American stuff eg Lynyrd Skynyrd) Again how could I stop him doing what he loves, playing live at his own wedding, though personally I'd rather have the party cheese.
    Well today he got a call from the band saying that they felt he didnt really fit the band for various reasons and so basically he's dumped. He's not upset as he was planning to bow out anyway to concentrate on his disco/karaoke business, but instead of checking how he felt my immediate reaction was 'oh good, no swamp rock, more time for some party stuff' Does this make me a bad person???

    I think its ok as long as you didn't say it out loud ellay.

    I'm a bridezilla because I'm planning a table for horrible people who have upset me in the course of my planning.

    My friend requested I sit her beside a male friend of mine she fancies, and I agreed, until today. She said she couldn't come to my hen doo because she was too poor and had dance rehearsals. Then she said she was planning to get the train up North the day after my hen, with the male friend she wants to sit beside (i've been friends with him for years and he's coming over from Australia, she's met him once) which obviously costs more and was planned after I'd asked her to my hen.

    So, instead of her sitting beside him, she can sit with my brother who has annoyed me and my boss who says nothing during meals and plays with his iphone, and my mate can sit with 2 of H2Bs single female friends, both of whom are gorgeous.

    Ha. :rotfl::rotfl: I'm so mean.

    Hee hee Im wetting myself at this!! Me and h2b were discussing having a table name for those we dont really like! Its either going to be the Gollum (Lord of The Rings) or Schumacher tables, you know, named after someone no one likes and really annoying!!!Pmsl!!

    I'm a bridezilla cos I can't think about my wedding yet (a week tomorrow) cos I have too much work to complete before Wednesday to even have 2 seconds to talk about hair etc with girls at work. One asked me today what I was doing with my hair (it's short) and I replied "well, I was thinking about brushing it". I would LOVE to do wedding talk, but I take my job seriously and I have NO TIME! my fake tan is booked for 9am next Wednesday so I'm going to have to do my last day at work looking like an oompa loompa cos that was literally the only time I have available. How has time speeded up so much?!? It doesn't help that summer holidays is our silly season at work, but loads of people away so my workload has quadrupled and next week I will be the only senior team member in - not a relaxing run up to wedding and now I'm ranting so I need to breathe right now or I will pass out thank you very much for listening I'll go away now and attempt to sleep while making lists in my head and not breathing or sleeping and kids will be up 6am help me help me help me....
