Hiya pinkpigg, i have been to my local taxoffice today and showed the advisor the letter requesting more info, she said did they ask you to keep this info last year when you renewed. Which they didnt then said i would have to call the mainhelp line so i did, i spoke to a lady who stated everyone who received the first letter would get a letter at some point before end of renewals to send all the requested info. So its not just us i was also told that wage slips aswell as p60 must be sent along with childcare contract and receipt. I really dont know what to do now. If they would of asked me to keep them last year i would of kept them but i havent, ive saved the last 4 weeks but they request a full year. They want to sort their selves out. Why not ask for us to keep them

When you say everyone whjo received the first letter, do you mean everyone who received the letter to renew by specialist team?

Yes she got manager to call me back to explain it was not just some of us but all of the people who received the specialist letter first, i questioned as to why they hadent asked for us to keep this info and was told to take it up with specialist team. Its a joke all this why not ask us last year to keep hold of these

Maybe need to check this out with Tax Credit Help if he/she comes on? They seem to know what is happening with this situation. I dont know how the Specialist Team will deal with so much info being sent in in only a few months? Did this info come from the Specialist Team or main tax credit helpline?

i have just called the tax credits a lady called amy a manager has just told me that if you have recieved ur award notices and ur anual declaraztion finalised they will not ask you for more information as they cannot change the figures on the reward!! the only reason u will be asked for more info is if that the figures dont add up from what they have on there system in the specialist team and what u av on ur p60. the childcare as of now they are going to be checking up on everyones

can i ask, was anyone asked to provide a proof even if you stopped childcare? I have stopped claiming in January and told TCO straigt away! Still worried though!

Can you advise me?
I got a letter this morning after renewing with the specialist team, and it says

Before we can renew your tax credits, we need to check the information you have given us is right.
Please provide us with these documents by the 2nd June DO NOT SEND PHOTOCOPIES
User to select one or more of the following options
P60 to 5th April
Payslips from ALL jobs or proof of earnings and hours worked for 06/04/09-050410

So do I need to send in both or either P60 or my wages slips?
I have my P60 but I don't keep wage slips

I got my final award and new award 10/11 then bout a wk later got this to send details ie p60, wage slips ect
