I went with Elephant last year but have been hunting around and used comparison site which found me a reasonable quote from Bell - £265....that's if paying up front - If I go direct debit will be £368..........have a few weeks yet to gather the cash - hopefully go for the lower one.0

https://www.caulfieldinsurance.com is good they beat all my other quotes by a few hundred. They use AXA.:hello:v :money:0

If anyone has a performance car or modified car, try out greenlight insurance. They came through on my Boxster S at a bit over £650, the next best price was more than 50% more.2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.0 -
Tried clickni/caulfield insurance...and they were £18 dearer!!!!!
Open+direct sent me £25 quid voucher, ie if they dont beat my quote they will send a cheque for £25!!!
Any one actually gotten a great deal off them or the £25?
Am on a major "paring back" offensive of all expenses!!!!

Definitely use the comparison sites - confused.com etc. Some of the companies they use won't quote for NI, but most will, and you'll be astonished at the difference in price. And then go to the insurance company you *want* to use, and ask them to match your best quote.0
