  • Directline came out cheapest for me (shame the cashback is gone) but my existing insurer matched them - particularly nice since my existing policy is better than the DL offering.
    2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.
  • I got my insurance through here, personally I found that if you get a web price then ring them with it they always seem to drop the price on the phone..just my 2 cents.
  • My quote of £369 has been blown out of the water by clickci only £262.01 wow - just saved loads and am sooo please - thanks mse for this top tip.:j

Went to "Oakland" insurance on the castlereagh road, (used to be Baileys) and got them to match the price for my renewal from Zurich (£770) to Caufields (£395) and did so with no questions asked! They even threw in a breakdown policy for me too! So happy!

Glad to hear others are getting a cheap quote from clickci.co.uk since I did mention them.

I was wondering if anyone had any need to claim would they still be a good insurance company, I hope so but if anyone does need to claim could they let the rest of us know how they get on so we know to either stay clear or consider them?

    *cough*about a week after I did*cough* LOL

Edit: Just noticed the second part of your post Jo4 - my cert came through from ClickCI & it was an AXA policy, so I was glad to have a big name for a change.

We have just received our renewal letter. It is with Zurich and includes breakdown cover (homestart as well).

I have checked and I can get the insurance only for about £55 less.

Is Zurich's breakdown cover any good? as I could get AA or RAC for the same price.

    Cheers

  • Thank you! clickci.co.uk has just beaten our cheapest quote by almost £100!
