Defintely .. but like all good haggling you have to do your homework first. Get onto one of the broker sites and find out who is quoting the cheapest and then see if you can get your preferred broker to match (or come as close as possible). One thing though, always make sure you are comparing like-for-like

I think i did some haggling today! :rotfl:

I managed to get a quote for £459, then i rang them back to say my current insurer had matched their quote and i wanted to cancel so they went down to £424. My next cheapest quote had been £618! :eek:

So ive now got fully comp for around the same as my TPFAT! :T And i paid a 3 month deposit, meaning i dont have any payments for my last 3 months!
Im very pleased with myself! :money:

Just had a quote of £442 for new BMW with prestige insurance via Higgins anybody heard of them, or had dealings? My rewnewal quote was for 634 with Norwich union. So you can see the saving!

I have dealt with them (prestige) for my MIL's home insurance and they were very good. Can't say what they were like for car insurance. OH and I have decided that next year we will be staying local for our insurance as all the flooding is bound to bump up the cost from mainland companies.

I used confused.com and the lowest quote was endsleigh who rang and even beat their own low qoute so very happy
