thats about right to be honest, you won't get much cheaper, but i am with quinns, they are cheap, and now as they are under administration they have to be ran by the letter and cannot set a foot wrong, so maybe worth a try? you can do an online quote with them, bar that you should ring around Open and direct, Hughes, Axa, Allianz, Curran Connolly, McClartys, Alan Reids, Hutchinson Whyte and others to get the best deal.

Adding a 17 YO boy to any insurance is gonna cost :eek:

Using Direct Line will give all named drivers NCD, if he stays as a named driver with you for 5 years he will earn 5 years NCD, which will be a big help:T I don't know of any other companies that give named drivers NCD, but there may be others.
