Check out Caulfields in Cookstown (clickni.com). We got a cheaper quote with them, even cheaper than the comparison sites. Though definately check them out too.

    AXA direct

You can get a quote online - make sure you are looking at axa direct NI, then ring them - and they will beat it. Honest it was a funny little quirk I found happened to me, then I told me mum and she had the same thing happen. Then if you have a local branch - go in there and ask them what their best deal was - we saved £180 on DH's original quote, £40 off mine, and £120 of me mums. And the original quotes were some of the lowest in the first place
  • Hughs Insurance. (Northern Ireland Based so supporting a local company too) By far the best quote I got.. 1/3 what Direct Line quoted..

I got some decent quotes off the comparison sites and the last couple of years I've used Post Office, who give £50 cash back, and this year Endsleigh Insurance. Having moved over from England I was expecting to pay through the nose for it but it turned out to be cheaper. Happy days!
  • We left Quinns this year, I went with Endsleigh and OH went to Hughes. I got my quote from Compare the Market's website.
  • We have a thread similar to this already, I'll add your query to it so all the replies are together. Posts are listed in date order so you'll need to read from the beginning to catch up :)

    MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. We've had good deals on car insurance from Elephant.co.uk and Marks & Spencer. If I remember correctly, we had to phone Elephant as they didn't quote for NI online.
