We have just received our renewal letter. It is with Zurich and includes breakdown cover (homestart as well).
I have checked and I can get the insurance only for about £55 less.
Is Zurich's breakdown cover any good? as I could get AA or RAC for the same price.
Cheers
anyone????Dave0 -
It really does my head in to go online and enter all my details only to be told the insurer doesnt cover us in Northern Ireland...so frustrating...I found a website which seems to have a lot of the insurers on it who do cover us here
I got a really good deal with my home and car insurance with directline through it and some of my mates have used it to get good deals with elephant and diamond.the site is www.insureni.co.uk. it isnt like a comparison site but just seems to be links to the insurers who cover us folks here.0 -
Caulfields are coming up £35 cheaper than my renewal with direct line. 06 Ibiza 5 yrs PNCD.
Has anyone taken out tesco value insurance? Or any opinions on it? It is £220 then £50 tesco vouchers back. Just wondering if its worth it. The 'normal' tesco insurance is too expensive.
I have went on a few of those comparison sites and I have been given 4 different prices for AA insurance!Norn Iron club member - 2650 -
I have been using confused.com and getting reasonable results. I have also used moneysupermarket.... confused.com came up with 20 results and a quote of about £900. Money supermarket came up with 1 quote at £5500. From this I derived the following relationship that other posters may find useful:
(money supermarket) + (Northern Ireland) = (waste of time)2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.0 -
Just got my renewal letter from Quinn Direct. Gone up about £50 from last year - no changes / claims. Anyone know if they are increasing their prices overall?
Have been shopping around and have quotes from Caulfields and AXA direct which beat Quinn by over £200. I am a 23 year old male driver with 6 years driving experience driving an Audi A3.
Also worth noting for you moneysavers with any named driving experience is that AXA direct will give a years no claims bonus for each year you were a named driver!
So, shop around! Just saved over £200 by contacting Caulfields as recommended here.0 -
That time of year again (for me anyway) think I have got a cracker deal too
Tesco VALUE insurance possible not for everyone this one cause its basic cut down insurance, but still covers all the necessities I need.
Quote for £155
Granted I'm married with kids and not a kick in the a$$ of 40 now but still seams pretty good to me.
If taken out before the end of June I get a voucher for a £100 Karcher power washer (redemible through Tesco Direct) and of course a nice £45 Quidco cashback
Soooo effectively £10 for my years insurance:T :T :T :T
Anyone do any better than That :cool:I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -
I saved £70 on last year by moving from Axa to Endsleigh. I also got another £50 back via quidcoTimmay!0
