i am i nthe smae boat except i am 22 and havent learned to drive. i am looking at getting insured o na corsa (with still a provsional licence) and my boyfriend as a named driver. price i getting is around £670 and that is from bell.co.uk who specialise in young drivers with no ncb. they worked out about 100 pound cheaper than elephant for all quotes i did.

i found saxos and clios to be dearer as they are classed as "little boy racer" cars to most insurers.

A nissan micra is also a good bet!!
love you lots like jelly tots :o
  • I always found Endsleigh o be the most competitive when I was a reckless teenage driver!

The N.F.U. (farmers union) used to quote very competetively for young drivers...But shop around definately.

quinn gave me a good quote last year, but this year.. so far (only shopping around now) endsleigh have been the best, but you need to be wary of the excess which they are offering you.

last year i rang farmers uninion but they wouldnt quote me

rule of thumb for a young driver - as said above - not to get a fast car - micra, corsa - actually, the vauxhall corsa sometimes comes with free insuance deals for age 18 and over.... i would look in to these - sure, the car might cost say £9k - you would pay £1250 insurance - in a year, you can sell the car for £8k - basicly a free car .........
Never do things tomorow when you can do them today.
