Skintoflinto - Santanduurrrr are just computer generated letter happy. They have the thickest wad of post! You'll probably get an acceptance one tomorrow based on our patterns with them!
Do you have it in writing from lloyds that you are in credit!?
Hopefully an acceptance letter will be waiting for me when I get home later :D
No, I rang Lloyds but they have no record of any missed payments or a cancelled dd. No letters received. Confused.com :rotfl:
    Have a good long weekend - that's if you're not working!! I'm not :)

O True, what a cute little puppy! we got ours just before xmas and she's already hugh!!!! and eating everything, even has ate a hole in the kitchen wall:eek:, but she's still very loveable and the kids just adore her, especially when she washes there faces for them (saves them the trouble!)

Got my CCCS agreement letter today asking me to sign and forward all the relevent paperwork, a bit nervous now, seems very official. Read through it and felt quite sick at some of the terms, ie. disclosure of all depts (i did not include next as I only have about £60 on it), fully disclosed income and expenditure (I am able to earn some extra cash (iykwim) each month, cccs did advice me not to include this and to just adjust the figures on there form to suit, so i have my cccs figures and my own official figures, they both have the same figure at the end for my DMP payment and that is a true figure).

Now I have visions of the fraud squad apearing on my door, i dont think i am doing anything really wrong i was advised that so long as work to a true repayment figure it was fine, the lovely lady at cccs just told me not to worry there is nothing wrong with trying to earn a bit of extra cash to pay my way.

    But I still feel sick!:(

PDD - you know that Principality account you've got with the pots? Which account is it or can you do the pot thing with any of their savings accounts?

  • Andy - Don't worry about it, our income can vary hugely from one month to the next, and CCCS advised us to go on the lower end of our 'average income', as the extra income isn't guaranteed, so we are including some of the extra in the DMP but not all, that helps in a way because we know we've got o put the effort in wit work to survive!!! Hope this makes sense, feel like I'm rambling on now .....
  • True the pots are in the Esaver which you have to open and work online. You can't see the pots until you put some money in.
Andy you will be fine, our income varies madly as well (I get commission on a good month)but we went in at the lowest level as well on CCCS's advice. No one is going to do you fraud mainly because its and INFORMAL arrangement, so don't worry it will be fine!!!!
If CCCS think you've put an expenses too high or too low they would have come back to you, they thought our petrol was horrendous (which it is) but once we explained that I cover all of Scotland and that oH has a 70 mile commute, they were fine.

Have a good day all, off to deal with a really pesky small businessman................

Agree with PDD, I had a NEXT account and didn't sign any agreement .... want to pay them back but if they start being awkward..........Sorry, although thankfully I think you said it was your smallest creditor..?

Yes, they are and it they started getting awkward I would be able to offer a F&F of about 40-50% to get rid of them (from bank of mum and dad, how sad!!!) Anyway, they have agreed for now so I won't worry about it. If there was no chance I could offer a F&F I would never have signed.

I went to get my hair cut today by the hairdresser who works from home and she has converted her garage into a fab salon! £10 for a cut and no more hair all over her kitchen. Anyway, she is running the Belfast marathon on Monday and all hairdressing this week is going to her chosen charity, so I can feel very smug about spending £10.

    The story gets better....

As I home educate, she asked if I would be willing to tutor her son in maths and english over the summer for CASH!!! as he has SEN that she feels are not being met in school!!

Earning cash and doing such good, what's that, Oh it's my shiny new halo.....:A
