Evening!
Hope you're all ok. I was having a good day until I got home to another HORRIBLE letter from Santander:eek: . They still don't mention CCCS contacting them even though they have!
All our other creditors have gone quiet and have either already agreed to freeze interest or are waiting for the 1st DMP payment.
Oh, when I say ALL...of course Lloyds say our account is in credit - hmmmm...strange...they are our largest debt! Maybe they've just written it off because we've hit hard times. Yeah, right! :rotfl:
Big hugs to anyone feeling a bit shaky about the whole DMP thing...:grouphug:. We're on our way to being debt free...YIPEEEEE!!! AND...tomorrow's Friday. AND...it's a Bank Holiday weekend.Debt = HUGE! LBM March 2010:idea:DMP starting May 2010:jWe are now proud to be dealing with our debt!!0 -
Extra special dodgy group hugs for Aliebabes :grouphug:and Mikon:grouphug:
You are doing the right thing and you'll stop feeling sick the further along you go, honestly. You're doing the best you can - facing up to the debt, dealing with it and offering what you can afford and what lets you live too.
Mikon - what I have gathered from other peoples posts is that the DCAs and you bedt being passed on to them is good news, they seem to be more ameanable to accepting dmps, and also peoples offers of f&f too.
Alibabes don't have a template cccs - sent them out for us to fill in so not got one....I'm sure a payplan paddler will be along soon to say what they did!
Mikon we are low start dmp - I don't know what the figures are - i imagine its something to do with the perentage of the debt available as a repayment. Low start just means you are starting making a low offer as you think your circumstances will improve but aiming in time to make a better offer to pay it off over a shorter term. If your circumstances are not likely to change then I think an iva might be suggested as more appropriate. You've fiddled with the figure and found the boundary....most impressed!
Sorry just seen PDD answered you very clearly...I have a glass of wine infront of me - it being payday and am perhaps rambling..... HTH!

Skintoflinto - Santanduurrrr are just computer generated letter happy. They have the thickest wad of post! You'll probably get an acceptance one tomorrow based on our patterns with them!
Do you have it in writing from lloyds that you are in credit!?DMP mutual support thread member 371LBM Jan 2010DMP Paddle No 20 -
Hi all,
Mikon and Alibabes, we seem to be pretty much at the same stage, I am feeling quite positive at the moment i have himmed and haaaaed about it for so long now and delayed and delayed going through with it, i think i am just relieved to have made the final descision to do it. Believe me I have had many many wobblies and there will definatley be more, each day is different, I do have a churning stomach all the time now and my brain has been taken over by this all cant seem to function at all, hubby has even started dropping hints about cleaning and ironing! We are all here to hold each others hands and it really does help.
Have spent all day doing my token payments and cancelling DD's and changed bank details for tax credits and child benefit, so got a load done.
Am i ok to go ahead and send my token payments before any confirmation from CCCS? also how long does it normally take to get anything from CCCS, I done my online application yesterday and a strange message came up when I submitted it, something about a problem they were trying to rectify. Now when I try to go on it I cant get in to my form the message saying they are dealing with my application, so im assuming then they got it ok. Do they email you? and how long does it take?
I am going to take a day off from it all tomorrow (apart from posting my tokens) and get some housework done (before ive to deal with a divorce too).:rotfl:LBM - March 2010Paddle no. 15 :j0 -

Ljm, it might have been unenforceable, by signing a new credit agreement, you just made it enforceable, sorry............. Hope it wasn't a lot of cash
Its ok, I sort of knew why they wanted me to sign but its only about £500Paddle no. 12
DMP start 1st April

:rotfl::rotfl:You've got me laughing now LJM!!:rotfl::rotfl:I think of them everytime I dust my hand-finished mango furniture:rotfl::rotfl: Mee too when I hoover the rug!
Walked into next today...felt like some sort of alarm should have gone off, should have been in disguise etc!! Walked out again very quickly!
CCCS said not to sign the agreement that they were being cheeky - they should have signed agreement already - as PDD sid they are trying to make them enforceable incase we go down that route...also the reduced payment agreement is a different amount on mine to the cccs payment so they wondered if they were trying to make me agree to extra cash too but by dirty means iyswim.
We're all nuts!!:rotfl:I'm scared to go near Next incase I somehow blurt out my name and account number and security take me away......
My DMP amount was the same as Next statement and TBH I just wanted them to agree without any hasslePaddle no. 12

Just briefly
6 months from now will I feel any better?
What happens if the creditors continue to bang the interest on and my debts just increase and increase.
What happens if DCA come knocking at my door.
God I feel as if I am going to have a panic attack.
I need to stop worrying about things that may not happen. But I just cannot.
Bye everyone and Goodnight.Mikon Riding the DMP Rollercoaster full of ups and downs but i will get to the end. :T:j
