    Money Money Money

    Material Girl

    Can't buy me love

    and for the children....

    Evening, I was in tescos today and they have lots of half price offers on hair removal, veet wax and cream, wilkinson sword razors disposables and refillable, if anyone is ready to shed the winter layer of fuzz.......

    Why were we not supposed to sign the agreement with next? I was a bit wary but thought I got the goods so I should pay for them and they are my smallest creditor. I think of them everytime I dust my hand-finished mango wood furniture.......

    Ljm, it might have been unenforceable, by signing a new credit agreement, you just made it enforceable, sorry............. Hope it wasn't a lot of cash

    Hi all you lovely people! :wave:Sorry I haven't been around to help support you all over he last few days:o I need to catch up and say all to the new peeps:)

    I just posted something but seemed to loose and was logged out??

    I have just spoken with Payplan again and have agreed my DMP, dah, dah, dah.....

    I am soooo nervous I feel sick:eek:. The lovely Portugese man from PP won't be my case officer unfortunately but someone will contact me in 5 days and they are sending me a letter of authority out to sign. In the meantime, I need to get my wages at the end of May paid into my new Natwest account and canx DDM's to creditors and transfer other DDMs to Natwest. I have to write a letter to each creditor explaining my situation, giving them my Payplan a/c number and send them a postal order, min £1 (not sure what amount is appropriate). Only prob is DDm's have gone to some creditors this month but not to all of them...

    Should I call my creditors as well as send a letter...need a hug

    Well thats it I've finally done it i've submited my online form to go on a DMP:j

    I feel like doing a wee jig:rotfl::rotfl:

    Have all my letters printed off to send token payments i will get them off in tomorrows post and will phone tax credits and child benefit to change account details (does anyone know can child benefit be paid weekly)? Then its just the dreaded moving of the DD's.

    And a big thankyou to all of you :T you really have been amazing I dont think I could of went through with it without all the help, advice and reassurance you have given me, i know there will be alot more ups and downs to come and i will needs you all alot more to help and reassure me, but :beer: for helping me to this first step.

    Hi AndyD,

    That's great news!!:T I'm proud of you being so positive. I need my hand held a bit at the moment I think:o I just set my DMP up with Payplan this evening

  • Albie well done, you are on your way. £1 tokens to as many creditors as possible this month and stash any money for emergencies. Just cancel the DDs you can, we kind of did half and half because of different due dates, so some got tokens, some got their minimum. It makes no difference in the end and paying full minimums did no good at all . The guy i spoke to from Lloyds was quite puzzled as to why we could pay one month but not the next????

    So get going, sit down with a wee cup of tea and sort it all out, you're on the way to being debt free!!!
