I'm onto my second red arrears communication from next - makes no sense although they have refunded some charges- they've re sent the letter asking me to sign agreeing to a reduced payment plan and a credit agreement:eek:cccs said not to sign so i'm guessing that's still the same!
Ooooh shiny diamond shopping!
Hi Mama - I have had my first red communication from next, in fact it showed that I'd made no payment since the last bfore my DMP kicked in, CCCS said their cheque had been cashed but they took 3 weeks to do that!! Guess I'll wait for my second red communication!!:(:( They are still charging late payment fees and charging the interest - that comes to more than the payment...Arghhhh!!!LBM Jan 2010

Hi everyone
http://www.lendingstandardsboard.org.uk/docs/lendingcode.pdf
Here is an interesting link. The previous link I posted did not work. Have a read of this it is very interesting and gives you an insight into how banks & cc companies should deal with their customers.
The link below shows the financial organisations that have committed to following the above code.
http://www.lendingstandardsboard.org.uk/subscriberlist.php
I hope this helps people and re assures people that the banks cannot hassle you they must abide by certain standards.
Good Luck to all particular the new starters like myself.
Thanks Mikon. I'll have a read over the weekend.
Thanks for the positive spin PDD. If I'm going to be Hope you have to be Pure though surely. Is that possible:cool:?
I'm hoping to be home early enough to call CCCS about those damn teletext calls. I'm wondering what music they will have on this time whilst I'm waiting to be connected. Perhaps we should put forward a few suggestions
Money for nothing:mad:
Moneys too tight to mention:rotfl:

Any more for any more?!
Hope you all have a good day all

Morning All
Glad you are having a snigger Mama, does you good first thing in the morning. Hope, I'm from Glasgow and my name in Glasgow slang means really really Dopey, cos Pure means really as does Dead as in Pure Dead Brilliant (Irn Bru Ads), do you so what I mean. Anyway haven't actually been pure for around 40 odd years.................More than Two Years in

Yaay True!:T:T:T:T
:beer:Did you take something with you to celebrate the final token postal order experience?
:eek::eek:Ex MIL, Difficult one there, don't envy you that decision, would Jack want to go with them if he was asked? I'd let him decide!
Those puppies sound so cute.....we'd love a pet, especially dd who really wants a kitten but is aiming for a hamster, just terrified of the vets bills that go with them! Poor dd keep telling her we have two small animals already - the Boys:rotfl::rotfl:
Oh I did Mama - a bottle of strawberry SlimFast :rotfl: its as if I haven't got enough to do, I've decided I need to be a size 10 again (last seen approx 2 years ago ) so thats only 3 dress sizes to loose....
See thats another issue - they don't want me to tell Jack because they would like it to be a surprise for his birthday. I know he'll love it so realistically I can't say no but I'm bl**dy angry with her for putting me in this position!
I've reserved a puppy!! Little boyaawww!!! TBH the vets bills are the smallest cost (obviously unless something goes pear shaped) but doggles and cat face are both insured, costs about £12 a month. Catface lives on Tesco value food because anything richer makes him toot and he stinks, but doggles has premium food (which I buy online, for £10 cheaper than in the shops, free delivery and get £2 Quidco
) for a massive bag which lasts about 2 months! Oh go on, get a kitten, you'll love it

True a wee doggles, what you going to call him, I just adore wee doggles and big doggles any kind at all. We sponsor a doggle at Dog's trust but can't go visit or would come home with ten and DH would be a bit harassed, cos he is chief dog walker........... Morning everyone, I think I am a reformed character.....:j
There is a small forest park/caravan park near where we live where we take our dogs to walk and a few weeks ago, a house at the entrance went up for sale. Five bed bungalow, 2 acres, stables and paddock.
The old me would have been on the estate agents site straight away to see all the details, ending in me moaning about how I will never get a house like that etc, so I would console myself by buying (on CC of course) a load of carp I didn't need....
This time it was my frugal from birth DH that couldn't resist a peek! I didn't even look and gave him a lecture about how looking at things you can't have only makes you feel bad about yourself!!!
Oh how things have changed!!:rotfl:
True, enjoy the puppy!! We have 3 elderly papillon dogs and recently a breeder gave us a beautiful 8 month old whoopsy pup, should have been a Chihuahua but the Dandi Dinmont terrier was involved a few generations back, very cute, and very hairy and totally adorable!!Paddle no. 12

Well, because he's a boxer cross and has a squished up nose (so cute!) I'm thinking something along the lines of Frankie.... will have to see how he grows! Big doggles is called Winnie (as in The Pooh, owing to her bear-like appearance as a pup) and catface is Charlie due to him being a proper charlie :rotfl: so I need something that will flow and something I won't look a prat shouting accross a field :rotfl:

We did have a pair of guinea pigs named Hilter and Goerring due to their evil nature so I'm not adverse to *ahem* different names (:D) if anyone has any suggestions??Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840
