So I got a phone call today....
Cautiously lifted the phone and it started ringing. I remember reading (on this thread?) that you get charged for these calls so I panicked and hung up. Typed the number in at who calls me and it was my broadband provider.....DOH!!:rotfl:
By the way, I don't owe them any money! :rotfl::rotfl:Paddle no. 12

This is my first time on the site and I have spent ages trying to figure out how to post so hopefully someone will pick this up. I am probably writing in the wrong place but have no idea how to do this.
I recieved on the 8th March two penalty charges saying the cost of each was 168.16 from Marston baliffs the date of the penalties is april 2007 and June 2007. I contacted Marston to find out what these related to and why we had suddenly been sent a letter after 3 years giving up 7 days to pay and asking for it to be put on hold until these questions were answered.
Yesterday a baliff turned up at my door and said he now wanted £651.13 and that the reason it had taken so long was that Hammersmith and Fulham were behind with their admin and insisted he would take nothing other than the £651.13. I am on maternity leave and my partner is unemployed the tickets are in my partners name and he is not on morgage does not own car or anything else.
Can you please advise as to what we can do. I can't understand why we have had just one letter and no explanation in 3 years and then £315 added on. I don't know what to do now. Please help.0 -

I find Voltarol very good when mine goes. Dr prescribed it when mine first went and it was then not available over the counter. Later it came out in a gel form but now you can buy pills that are stronger than the gel. Is there a hot water bottle icon?Paddle No 21 :wave:0 -
Good news plumber arrived this morning and fixed boiler so shower now works also fixed bath tap :j Bad news cost £ 70 he was only here for 50 mins:( But I had the money to pay cash :j so I mustn't moan. Nothing to report DMP front looking forward to logging onto to CCCS website and the end of the week to see my balances decrease.
So only decisions I have to make now is shower or bath, shower or bath0 -
