Where is everyone, get back here now!
So, I got another letter from Next, this time telling me the payment plan was reset and no mention of the DCA. So I decided to call them and ask them outright. My account has NOT been transferred, the paypent plan IS reset. The problem is the CCCS payment not arriving before the statement date. It works for a few months, payment on 24th covers the following month, then along comes a bank holiday that causes CCCS to send out payments early (20th April this time) so there is 2 payments on my statement, yet they need another 1 before 23rd May or the plan will cancel again. I am tempted to make an extra payment to Next this month only to avoid the plan cancelling again. Any thoughts? I will, of course ask CCCS before. It is doable as it is only £13.00Paddle no. 12

I would refrain from sending an extra payment as they may well ask how you can afford this and also CCCS will not be impressed.
I have been with NEXT and as you will see they put me through this process then handed me off to a DCA (Moorcroft). My advice would be to speak with CCCS before you make any payments to NEXT.
Hope this has helped.

Update
Wrote to Moorcroft on 23 April gave them 14 days to respond as of yet no reply. Not surprised at this but at least if it goes to court then I can always produce the letters that they failed to respond to. Now the holidays are out of they way I am ringing CCCS tomorrow to notify them of the letter from Moorcroft.
I am making a reduced payment to my creditors this month and will be undertaking a review next month to reduce my monthly payment. I guess when I set out 12 months ago I set the monthly payment high and unfortunately cannot maintain this. So my suggestion to anyone setting out on a DMP is make sure you do your budget and you do it realistically.
Apart from this all the other creditors are quiet. Life is hard on a DMP but I will get to the end of the tunnel one day.
My next project after I have completed the review and things have settled down as I am sure some creditors will kick off and others will refer or sell my debt on to DCA. Once it goes quiet I will start looking at F & F starting at 20%.
Best of Luck everyone

Hi Guys
Well Mo*rcroft have replied to my letter stating they are putting my account on hold whilst they talk with my creditor their client and investigate the points raised. Failed to provide any documents I requested.
Next dilemma is who do I pay my next DMP payment to Mo*rcroft or Next?
Another letter me thinks.

Is it worth writing a letter of complaint to Next. I mean a full on complaint, recorded delivery, quoting the various codes that Mikon is a complete star in finding for us. if you do that they have to take you seriously.
Quite frankly if their statement dates are causing you financial hardship, which I think they are, they I would personally go for it big style.
Complain of stress, the harrasment of dealing with the letters, all for £13-00 a month that you are doing your best to pay despite the grave financial difficulties you find yourself in.
Threaten the Financial Ombudsman and if they don't leave you alone (cancelling your plan if fe%^^£^£^ stupid in my view).
And if you don't get a decent response then complain to the FO.
Go for it, i'm getting heartliy sick of all these idiotic creditors. They leave me alone but some of you lot get treated appallingly.

I wrote to NEXT in January and I am still waiting for a reply so don't hold your breath. It has comeback and bit them on the ar*e as the DCA so i understand or reluctant to handle debts where their is a dispute. DCA want simple cases owned by people that feel threatened by a DCA and will pay up, of which I was one once but now I am not. I have wrote to them quoted law and test cases. Explained my situation but also maintained that I want to repay my debts and explained that i will contest any court cases on several points of law firstly the amount owed is incorrect secondly they have failed to provide the information required within the stipulated timeframe.
I contacted NEXT regarding the service charges and have asked them to repay or offset them against the debt but am still waiting for it to happen.
Good luck be firm do your research be assertive and not afraid.
Best wishes

Hi all,
Just rolling through, hope you had a good BH weekend.
Mikon looks like you have it hand with moorcroft keep bugging them they'll see sense.
Nothing to report here, still battling with BC i just want them to default me now, but because i haven't defaulted and i'm not in arrears its unlikely - tres annoying oh well.
Bye all keep your chins up and the paddles going G x0 -
I think the thing that annoys NEXT is that they send you new agreements to sign and when you refuse it cheeses them off. They know exactly when they will get payment off CCCS. They stipulated that my payment had to reach them by the 7th of each month and CCCS paid on the 20th of the month so I paid in advance but it made no difference.
It boils down to financial reporting companies cannot report bad debts and it therefore impacts on their Profit & Loss sheets. They therefore sell the debt or get DCA involved.
NEXT make the rules up as they go along I think.
