That reminds me I need to write to NEXT to see if they want this months payment or Moorcroft.
So I am off to put my legal head on and dig out some points of law.

DFD In the Far Far Distant Future.DMP Mutual Support Thread No: 410 / DMP Without a Paddle No: 300 -
Hi all,
This is my first time on a Forum and like many are having money meltdown.
I have read many of the threads and all seem to be possitive about CCCS. I have visited their website, but have heard so many horror stories I feel very nervious about committing to a DMP. I feel I am at that stage but not sure where to turn, who to trust or how it works.
I would be grateful for any advice or support through this process.
I am also slightly worried how overtime works. I obviously get a basic weekly wage, but have the oppertunity to earn overtime here and there, ranging from an extra 20 - 100 pounds. How would this efect my DMP.
Any advice would be grately recieved.
Many Thanks0 -
Hi Guys
Well Mo*rcroft have replied to my letter stating they are putting my account on hold whilst they talk with my creditor their client and investigate the points raised. Failed to provide any documents I requested.
Next dilemma is who do I pay my next DMP payment to Mo*rcroft or Next?
Another letter me thinks.
Anyone had similar experience.
Mikon, from my lurking on the dark side I think you don't make any payment whilst the account is in dispute, you don't have to by law. Dopey will know, but I reckon that's what you do. PPLBM Jan 2010. DFD 2016.
Paddle No. 5.
Debt at DMP start (May 1st '10) £54.9k, as of 1st Oct '11 £33.2k. 40% cleared.
(3 F & Fs down, 5 to go!) :T0 -
Hi Shyguy, welcome. I agree with Ted. Go for the minimum and save with any surplus.
Mikon, sounds like yu are having a mare. What have CCCS said?
PP I think the difference between Mikon and Dope's situation is that Dopey is doing UE and CCCS frown on straying from DMP or questioning UE.
Hope everyone is fine and dandy.

morning Guys
You can't mix the two, doing a DMP and UE are totally incompatible.
if you are going to ask for CCAs and put accounts into dispute, you have to drop out of a DMP as the DMP companies won't let you pick and chose who to pay. Mikon you are stirring a hornets nest, speak to CCCS and they will sort out the payment this month, they are acting on your behalf and that's what you got to let them do.
As I have said before, they will take NO NOtICE while you are still paying, why would they? think about it guys!
PPP is absolutely right about stopping payment if it goes into dispute but CCCS won't let you so you are back to the beginning and the big question, to UE or not to UE.
as an aside, I would be very very careful about quoting ANY law or case law at anybody, unless you are very sure it is up to date, and it changes almost daily, so what might have been current last month could have been completely changed by the latest case, very very common with UE. The DCAs and banks are losing in court everyday, however they are also winning every day and you have to balance the outcomes of both, not a task for an enthusiastic amateur, honestly.More than Two Years in

There's a thread if you want to check it out E2. Website link is here

You pay about 1/3 of the retail value - not that many of us would pay retail value but even with postal charge there's significant saving to be had. Don't forget to pick up a lucky box for £1!

Thanks for all the support re Next. I haven't done anything yet, it is so stressful to me ATM that I am guilty of burying my head in the sand. Next and Halifax are the two £$%^&&&*'s that are killing me, the rest have been totally fine, sending a statement every 1-3 months and that is it. I have been feeling so uneasy about the whole DMP thing recently, too:(Paddle no. 12
