  • I believe that a DCA can take off the original creditors name from a default and add their own but can't change the date of default. You are perfectly correct, each debt can only be defaulted once. They don't really matter at the moment unless you are about to become debtfree and some plonker has added a late one incorrectly, then you would have to argue it, at the moment, not worth the bother

thanks Gabs, am all clean and shiny from my very own loo, can wash dises and have spent to-day catching up with a mountain of washing........so exciting having water............

    Hi everyone

Looking for some help and advice from all you eggheads/debtheads out there!!! As some of you are already aware I am unable to take up an extra job in evenings and weekends because of my medical condition. However, I think I get get around this by working from home. Besides ironing (can't even iron my own clothes at the best of times!!) can anyone point me in the right direction to either advertise my many administrative talents for evening and weekend work or who would be looking for someone like me to work from home?
    Debt at DMP start (1st Oct 10) £30,838k :(. Debt of DMP as of 11th May 12 £12,170k :o.
  • Ted - Have you tried the Eclipse books, stephanie meyer? I really didn't think I'd like them but was really surprised! Or get youself to Asda they're selling loads of books for £1 each?

Mephista - Have you tried the Up Your income board?
  • Teds you get star badge for enterprise this week!

Mephista - have you thought of mystery shopping, you could do the website ones or phone calls. Don't forget you have to pay tax (self employed) no matter how little or much you earn.

My latest MSE is fixation with vinegar, cleaning drains, dishwasher and washer etc.

    Hope everyone else doing ok.

Thanks newbeginning - cost isn't a problem as I've been reserving from the library, how MSE is that!:T ... it's helpful though to read books recommended by others, haven't tried the books you've mentioned so thank you!

    You're a better MSE'r than me than!

Let us know what you decide on, I'm a bit of a bookworm too.

Wearing my badge with pride HH !

Is that a Mandasue Heller? If it is her books are good, if you like them then try some of Martina Coles early stuff, or Kimberley Chambers.

    Hi Newbeginning and Hopelessly hopeful

    Thanks for the tips.

Newbeginning - I actually didn't know there was an up your income board so thanks for that. I'll take a little look and see what the suggestions are.

Hopelessly hopeful - thanks for the Mystery Shopping suggestion. I too thought this might be a good way to earn some additional cash and have registered with a few. However, here I am a few years later with nothing to show for it. There is very little on the go for Northern Ireland and at the moment it seems like you need fingers of lightning. If anyone knows of a really good Mystery shopping site which operates quite a lot in Northern Ireland I would be very grateful if you would let me know who they are.

Thanks to you all. Now back to my endless search for a permanent well paid job!! Do they exist? Who knows.
